Still not showing in order status. Don't want to try a third time as it is not my money. For the record, i'm not buying it for me. :(
 
I tried a few times on both iOS and the web on a couple of different machines using different cards.

Every time the Ooops.

However I've just checked one of my bank accounts and it looks like the money has already been allocated. But there is no iPad in my order status.

Does anyone know what's happened? Do I get an iPad... or not? eeek o_O
 
Alright, I had the ops message, now my order status is processing items :confused:

For those who tried and had the same oops message, highly suggest you check your account ...
Yeah, tried that both times
"There are no orders associated with this account that were placed in the past 90 days."
 
for those who can't get it to work on the desktop, try the iOS app. I had success there (just keep pressing if you see those errors... I got through)
 
I'm showing 2 on my recent orders although i only got the thank you message for one...so check you status as you never know! good luck people :D

Cant get HE discount through iOS app, just going to keep trying, keeping an eye on order history and bank balance.

EDIT - Looks like one got through! Hope hundreds more don't appear :S

check on your apple account...if there's none showing it hasn't gone through
 
Just got through.

Tried 10-15 times and got an 'Oooops' error at pretty much every step of the process along the way - including 'Session timeout' or whatever when trying to sign in with Apple ID.

So keep trying girls and guys, good luck to you all & goodnight.

PS - I went for the 16GB WiFi which will probably be the most in-demand model, so there's hope for us all!

Same thing here, money has been taken from my bank, but no orders showing on Apple account.

Annoying, don't know if to keep trying or not now.
 
Yes, there might be 2 issues here:

1. Too many people trying their website is not stable
2. Too many people are ordering the same thing, creates database lockings...

I would suggest to wait til tomorrow morning...
 
Never got a confirmation message via browser or iOS app but one iPad3 64GB WiFi and Red Leather Smart Cover appear to be sitting in my orders page. :D Gawd only knows if it'll still be there in the morning or if may be joined by many identical siblings. Ah well, whatever happens happens and if I have to wait a week or two more (or do some rapid cancelling when I wake up) so be it.

Good luck everyone! As the rest of the site is more or less working might be worth trying switching on express checkout in your settings. Know that worked last year for some.
