GUYS!!!

USE THE IPHONE APP!!!

I tried 25 times on Safari, and Firefox, tried on a laptop using windows... always "oooops"

Tried on iPhone app and worked first time. Must use a different server for the app. GOT MY NEW IPAD COMING!
 
Success! Well sort of, still came up with the "Oops" error but my order now shows up in my recent order history. My advice to people having issues:

Use SAFARI do NOT use google CHROME

Finally managed to order it using the website after many Oops errors, the iOS app kept on hanging on processing for me.

It appears only ONE iPad is in my order list! Superb. :D Cheers for all the advice guys. :) Roll on the 16th...
 
Finally got through, persistence paid off. Just hope I've ordered 1 and not 6 ;-)

(Chrome worked fine for my btw).

Hi Tommy,

That's good news but a quick question for you: You said that you weren't going to try again. So... what happened? Did one of your original orders suddenly appear in your order status and you received a confirmation email? Or... did you try again?

Finally managed to place an order using the Apple Store App. Hopefully it all goes through, and tomorrow I'm not cancelling 2 dozen other failed orders, but that's probably enough for tonight!

SUCCESS ! Through the ios app. Eventually. I've never been so glad to see the (potential) back of 615 quid. ffs, you gotta larf.

Keep trying guys - "We will fight them on the beaches", etc. ;)
 
Finally

After trying constantly since the pre-order page went live, I managed to get the order through using the iOS app.

I've never known the Apple site to be THAT bad when a new product is launched.
 
Google Chrome worked perfectly fine for me. It was the browser that was auto refreshing.

Had both the standard store and HE store open at the same time, my eyes lit up when they both refreshed instantly :p

God bless you sir! Tried about 20 times on iOS and safari on OSX, followed your advice and installed chrome... Bang! Got an order through first time!!!

Guys, if you're still having trouble with the Oops error, try enabling express checkout in your account settings.

I did this, and got through first time. (after about 15 goes the normal way)
