FFS, order finally went through, and showing 1 x 32GB WIFI in My orders on Apple.
However 2 payments of £479 have been taken from my bank.
Will this automatically correct itself or will i have to call Bank/Apple?
I'm hoping this doesn't do the same for me. I tried four times.
Yeah I'm hoping this too, I have one order processing but I have 2 payments assigned in my current account and one in my credit card!! Eek! they look preliminary only though as my balance looks normal but my "available" is a negative number!! Pretty sure it'll correct but will be checking in morning...

Ordered successfully just now first time. Money processed from bank, order shows up in account. Delivers on 16th.
Worth it to avoid the queues and inevitable 2-3 week wait that'll begin in the morning.
Wife will be happy I didn't sell our iPad 2 without a replacement on the way! Hope everyone else got their orders in.

Interesting. Might've used them for the same possible reason they used UK Mail - i.e. to not overload UPS.
All bets are off then as to who will have my new iPad on board.

Man this thread makes me sad I was in on the fun last year with my iPad 2 Preorder and IP4S preorder. But this year it's a no go, not got the money
It's incredibley tough just looking at the preorder page and seeing that they're still up for release day delivery, and yet now being able to order.

No confirmation email has arrived but I only got my order in at 0050. My cc has been debited so that's okay.
Re: when it'll arrive, far from arriving late, I think it's more likely it'll arrive on time or earlier - my iPad 1 preorder arrived a day earlier.Similar situation, I got my preorder in a couple hours after the store went up.

Yep, or earlier in my experience.
I'm in exactly same boat. Might hold off a few weeks actually and ebay it. I'd like £400 really, it is after all a 64gb 3g and in mint condition. Much less and I'd think about keeping it for the household.

Finally got the order to go through after hours of ****ing about... and now my bank have declined the transaction. God only knows why....
Order is listed next to my Apple account, so I'm hoping it'll stay there until i ring the bank in the morning to clear whatever the problem is.
