Yep, or earlier in my experience.
Thanks. What company delivers it here in the UK?

Wait, am I the only person who got it to go through first time?

Off to the 3-store tomorrow to get a micro sim!
If you're willing to cut up a sim to turn it into a microsim then consider Three's "SIM Pay As You Go + 12" sim only deal. You get 12 GB for 12 months and I think it costs £51.49. It works out at £4.29 a month plus you get the benefit that your data kind of rolls over. I.e. one month you might not use it but the next month you might go away and hammer it.
You should be able to get £12.50 cash back as well if you buy through a Quidco link which means that it works out at effectively £3.25 a month.
Ooh that does sound interesting. The Three store is down at the moment but I'll check it out when it comes back up. I was looking at the iPad Micro-sims specifically and had settled on the 1GB/month for £7.50 option.
All of the 'official' 1GB/month pay-as-you-go deals are now £10 per month. You have to sign a contract (albeit 1 month rolling contract) for £7.50 a month. If you're willing to cut up a sim then the 12 month thing is a no brainer in my opinion. I did it for both mine and my fiancée's iPads and her father has done it too. If you have an existing microsim (i.e. out of an iPhone or iPad) to hand to use as a guide then it's really quite simple. Just make sure always to make it clear which corner has the slanted bit on otherwise you can mess things up and forget which way round it goes.
Here's my order tracking widget, 8 days sounds so long. The post-it next to the widget is the reason I am treating myself to a new iPad.
