UK New iPad Thread.

This is prob a bit late but I ordered mine using the Apple Store app on my iPhone yesterday, never went down :p for delivery on the 16th :D
Kicker is I just went on to see IF I could buy it through the app cause the online store was down, I wasn't going to buy one till next month, but damn my impulsive nature!!!
 
Its a horrible feeling knowing that somewhere, my shiny new iPad is sitting in a dusty old warehouse, and wont be moved until next week :(

The app was down when I tried it last night (several times between 10 and 11), it was popping up messages in Dutch/German too.
 
The 32gb white iPad is now saying 'Dispatched: by March 22'...

Edit: Gone back to the 16th now.

Just finished ordering mine over the phone, 16GB Black version! It's my first one so I didn't splash out on the 32, I didn't use the 16 on my 4S so I don't think I'll need it now.

Very pleasant experience compared to most call centers, ended up speaking to a young american woman, the call took no less than 8 minutes!

Just got off the phone to Apple.
My order didn't go through but they still decided to take £1200 out of my bank.

So I have to wait till possibly Monday for the money to return to my account before I can pre-order again..

Apparently this has happened to a lot of people.

32gig wi-fi Black ordered, along with a new ATV. Showing as 16th-19th. I'll take that as about the 22nd then :p
 
I was also one of the ones trying to order last night....luckily I managed to get my 32gb 4G iPad ordered. However, I just rang my account and 3 orders were authorized by Apple. I will need to contact them at some point.

For those who have pending authorisation charges who have ordered more than once - you can call Apple and they will sort this out for you! I got through to them well quick.

Seems to be a lot more available for delivery rather than the mad shop queues.

I guess there will be a lot of overtime for courier companies next Friday....

Ordered a Black 64Gb 4G version and got 16th March confirmed :) Nice one so now hoping it won't be delayed...

I ordered late lastnight, delivery on the 16th too here...best bit is I sold my iPad 2 today for £300, so the new ones only costing me £99...! Win :)
 
Black 64GB WiFi has now slipped to shipping from 22nd, in addition to the 2 high end white WiFi models.
