UK New iPad Thread.

Does anyone know what chances are of picking one up at a apple store tomorrow afternoon? Im guessing stock will be very limited so will it be only people who have pre-ordered or can anyone grab one?

You can probably get one. But you'll have to get there early.

Like, really early.

As in, I'd think about getting going in an hour or so :p
 
Just drove to Tescos and picked up a 16GB White.

Bought it for my mate (apple are quoting them 2-3 weeks on their order) on the condition that I get to play with it first :D

Mine comes tomorrow morning via sycreon

The UKMail Docklands depot which is where my iPad is/is going is 30 miles away from my house, chance of actually getting it tomorrow? I worked for royal mail over christmas, after finding out how they treat their packages/deadlines I'm a bit worried!

I just checked my order on UK Mail's tracking site. It says delayed until the 19th. Reason: misroute.

Is this just en error and I'll get it tomorrow as promised?

After all you ordered it in good faith to get it today.

Does not bode well for uk mail.

My Apple TV order seems like its going to Arrive tomorrow but I'm in no rush for that. It's the iPad I want!

What's the chances in Apple reserving one for me to get at a retail store in te morning? Would I have to wait in the queue?

I picked one up earlier tonight at PC World on Tottenham Court Road. I was in line at the Regent Street Apple store, when a bunch of kids came, selling 3rd generation iPads. Later on, a PC World staff member showed up, saying that they were open and selling the iPad, so I left the queue and went to get it.
 
Argos Reservations now work but it took me a while to figure it out :)

Go to Argos website and search for 'iPad 16GB' or 32GB or 64GB remember to include the ' in the search box or the New iPad results wont come up! If you only search for iPad you only get the holding advert page.

Note down the catalogue number and text the <catalogue number> <store number> to 61201. If its out of stock it will suggest a near by store that has stock, then just reply with reserve

Use the store locator to find the store numbers, good luck!

Just got one from John Lewis, all models currently available. Got 64 GB wifi and 4G in black.
