UK New iPad Thread.

I've ordered one from argos. picking up at 9am. 32gb black wifi. seem to have most models available in stock. Sheffield by the way and not a very big branch of argos - probably the smallest in Sheffield. i am expecting to get to argos at 9am to be told they don't have any !!!

Go to Argos website and search for 'iPad 16GB' or 32GB or 64GB remember to include the ' in the search box or the New iPad results wont come up! If you only search for iPad you only get the holding advert page.

Note down the catalogue number and text the <catalogue number> <store number> to 61201. If its out of stock it will suggest a near by store that has stock, then just reply with reserve

Use the store locator to find the store numbers, good luck!

Thanks for this. There's one 32GB black in stock at a store on my way to work. Reserved it for collection now. Awesome.

I already have one due for delivery in the states next week, but not sure I can wait two more weeks for when I'm out there at Easter!

Mine out for delivery, I thought it would come direct from Tamworth to Telford but it's coming from Stoke depot.
 
Just got back from Currys, Stevenage, Herts, with my new Ipad!! They opened at 7am and have quite a few in stock.
there was only me and one other person in the queue.

They reckon they will have sold out by lunchtime.

Mine still show as delayed and delivery expected for Monday but despite this the woman at UK Mail says its fine and it will be delivered today.

Is she just saying that to get me off the phone?

*edit* It just this minuite says out for delivery! Maybe she was right!
 
This is almost the worst part now. Status set to out for delivery and waiting for it to show up, hoping that the courier hasn't put it on the wrong van or delivers to the wrong place.
 
I'm stuck at work with an awful cold awaiting my delivery as I sent it to my work address knowing no one would be at home. It'll be worth it once it arrives ;)
 
Just noticed a 2nd 'Out for Delivery' from TNT at 8:09... do you think that's the actual van leaving the depot tracking update?
 
I got mine from Tesco last night. What a great device! (my first Ipad) :D

As I still have an order through Apple store (coming later) does anybody knows would I be able to return mine in Apple Store or would I need to do it by post?
