Expo shows my MacBook to arrive at 5pm today direct from Korea to Heathrow. I have no idea how it got from china to Korea but I'm going by what that site says.

Mine now shows a requested delivery date of the 17th. I do wonder if that's the date the parcel will be handed off to UPS here in the UK which will then take at least another day to merge and most likely arrive on the 19th or if that's the final delivery date.

To be fair arriving at 5pm on Friday gives it plenty of time to get merged with the gift card and be awaiting for delivery on Monday but I guess we will see when it arrives here this evening if it's sitting at Heathrow all weekend or moves immediately...

Oh god...

After checking my order status every hour since it's been at 'processing', my status has FINALLY changed to Preparing for Shipment! You can imagine that it was like staring at a mirage. I rubbed my eyes, I gawked, I pinched myself in case I was dreaming. Nope, it's definitely changed sometime between 3AM GMT last night and 10AM GMT this morning.

Mine's a base model (2.3/8GB/256), ordered on 18th June, late evening time. Delivery estimate is 16th-20th July. Shipping to Northern Ireland. Hopefully it ships soon - Apple ships over the weekend, right?

Good luck to the rest of you 18th (and beyond) orders who I've been speaking to.

Mine is in Korea as well, went there from China.

I cannot get the Expo website to show anything for me, am putting in the number beginning with 8 but it returns no data in the table? Thats track by shipment number?

But I do have a UPS tracking number that shows its progress but not as detailed as its due in LHR today at 5pm

I gave up on the online order and bought one (base model) in the Belfast store this morning. I ordered on 6th July and got 7-13th August as delivery estimate.

I got EDU discount but because I lost my student card they were very thorough at making sure I was actually a student. Good to know people aren't easily ripping off this system.

Anyway, haven't had a chance to set it up yet. I can't wait :D

I actually can't read my tracking information correctly... My MBP is due on tomorrow's flight arriving at Heathrow tomorrow at 5 - so hopefully it will be with me on Tuesday. I don't like the fact that it looks like it just missed today's flight and now has to sit in a warehouse until tomorrow morning but honestly it wouldn't have made much difference to when I get it realistically

I don't have a UPS tracking number yet so you are one step ahead of me! And I'd be looking at that for information if I was you however I ave to say I think UPS are the most slow international courier ever even though they have their own planes! I wish Apple used FedEx to the UK as they are always very fast!

To all the HE online purchasers my MBPR was delivered on the 4/7/12 and I just received an email with an apple care certificate confirming my free 3 year hardware warranty :) Happy days!!

Looks like I might be on the same plane as you.
Ordered 2.3/16/256 on 21st and finally Preparing for Shipment… the day I go on holiday!

Ordered the same config on the same day, still on processing.

On top of the fact that the store now says 2-3 weeks for shipping (which means my order is over 3 weeks old), and still hasnt shipped.

If it's not out by the end of the day, someone at Apple CS will have their ears blown away.

This is what UPS is showing

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 13/07/2012 12:07 P.M. Departure Scan

so i assume its on a plane?

The only reason I got a UPS number is i went back in to track my order on the apple site and it was shown there?

Ahh yes just checked the UK store and now they also say ships within 2 to 3 weeks so will be keeping a very close eye on mine as it's coming up to 2 weeks since I placed my order.

No. I bought mine in the apple store this morning. Comes with the discount and the £70 gift card but just the standard 1 year warranty.
Are you sure you get free extra AC online? I've just gone onto a University homepage and the Macbook is £1528 but for AppleCare it says: APPLECARE PROTECTION PLAN UPLIFT MACBOOK PRO (HE CONTRACT) [+ £60.00]

Doesn't appear to be free, but rather a much discounted price for HE

Click on "more information"

You'll see

"your macbook comes with complimentary 3 years service for parts and labor, but only 90 days for phone support"

So basically that 60£ gets you 3 years of phone support to match the already included warranty (who cares)

important part is the hardware, and its covered for 3 years under HE discount lol

Just checked a BTO option configured the same as mine and it says 2 to 3 weeks for delivery so hopefully from Monday onwards the status of my order should change from processing to preparing for dispatch.

Ah yep, of course, reading comprehension failure lol. Cheers :p

Definitely wouldn't pay for telephone support haha, so pointless.

It seems yours is on the plane now and arrives in about two hours.

Mine is due to depart tomorrow (14th) and arrive tomorrow at Heathrow.

I can only assume you have a UPS number because it is being delivered by them? Which in theory should be slightly faster than getting picked up by UPS when it arrives. But I'm speculating and I could be wrong. I guess we will know later today because UPS will surely update your tracking tonight at some point to show it's in the UK.

This is what UPS is showing

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 13/07/2012 12:07 P.M. Departure Scan

I have a 12:07 departure scan as well.

I looked through Incheon departures and the only freight flight coming into Europe around the departure scan time is flight KAL509 which goes through Amsterdam to Stockholm. From what I've read this seems to be a standard flight for Apple products coming into the EU.

If I'm right there will be an arrival scan sometime after 15:50 GMT+1 at Amsterdam and a departure scan sometime before 18:20 GMT+1 on its way to Sweden. Wheels down in Stockholm at 20:20 GMT+1.

Nothing here :(

21st
