I can only assume the 'Estimated Time of Delivery' means the date and time that it will arrive with Apple. Thanks again for the heads up!

Here is the entire tracking using Expo to UPS so EVERYONE can see the process. I was lucky that my MBP flew straight into London and didn't go everywhere else first.
Then onto UPS:
As you can see once Apple got it they shipped it right back out to UPS. But that was very quick. It may be the exception and not the rule.

I was EDU. The gift card had to be merged. The UPS delivery man forgot to leave it so he is going to drop it back later.
It went to Apple first TO BE merged and then back to me via UPS.
UPS tracking is on the Apple tracking page AFTER it has been delivered to them and shows as signed on Expo and then Apple has processed it, which in my case took from 3pm to about 1am.

Thanks for this. It really helps me have a visual idea as to how long it will take for me to receive the rMBP. Judging by your experience, and seeing as that I alsohave an EDU card that needs to be merged, I would expect my delivery to take place on Thursday or Friday. That's about three days earlier than the quoted date, which sits right in line with the timeframe in which my wife received her MBA order (3 days early). Thanks again!

Like I said in my tracking yesterday ...
It got delivered to Apple yesterday afternoon and the UPS number didn't appear on the Apple tracking until 1am...
So don't expect one yet - mine went from near Birmingham to the south coast in one night which is normal but ive never had a package collected at 1am and delivered at 11am only a few hours later!

How come yours got delivered and not mine grrr annoyed!!! Tomorrow is the last date they can deliver I was quoted 12th to 18th really really annoyed!!!!!
Mine is stopping all over the world before it gets to me!!

I was more than happy to get it from the depot if they didn't deliver today. But then they turned up so all good.
I can't decide what resolution to use. 1680 is probably the best medium for extra space and sharpness. I found 1920 to be too small to use without hurting my eyes (trying not to sound like an old man when I'm young). The best for retina 1440 scaled looks best but doesn't give any extra space.
Ironically enough I spent most of my time putting windows on in Bootcamp. I installed a 32bit version then realised and had to wipe it and put 64bit on.
Windows looks fantastic even at 2880 - clear and easy to read.
Better than OSX which surprises me. I could easily use windows at that resolution. I have to actually try OSX at that resolution but I don't think it will look good.
I also put mountain lion on it and it has a weird bug where it always resets my wallpaper to default when I restart the mac. It's annoying.
Noticed on the Bridge Point Shipment Status page on the Apple Online Store it says: 'Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date'
I'm guessing this means that those of us with an estimated delivery date of July 18th should receive our rMBP's tomorrow, even though no tracking number has been provided?

Superb that is good news and hopefully it means my order won't be too far behind
better not mine says the 20th... be livid if that happened seeing as it went to the merging centre yesterday!!!!!
Just an update that I have now received an assigned carrier of UPS and a tracking number from Apple.
