If you look on the estimated delivery date it says 10am tomorrow (well today now) to reach Syncreon, so it is quite likely they will be arriving with us on Thursday or Friday at the latest.

Called ups and they didn't even have my full address !!

What the hell .. So they're calling the driver to update the package .. Unbelievable

Same situation here... my current status is: Est Delivery to Consignee. And no UPS/TNT tracking number. So I dont know when i have to expect delivery to my home... Any solution?

Assuming it moves today, you're looking at a Friday delivery luck depending, if it doesn't then Monday.

Just received my rMBP! I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but upon inspecting the outer casing it is beautiful with absolutely no defects. Hopefully the same applies to the screen and keyboard area!

I hope those of you who are waiting for yours receive it soon!

EDIT: Booted up the system and set it up and everything seems perfect! By far the most amazing computer of any kind I have ever owned. Everything is crystal clear and the screen is absolutely gorgeous! It's been a long month but it's been well worth the wait.

definitely lags like crazy in the browser. 20fps is even generous i'd say about 2-3 fps.

Lag isn't even the right word..

but the rest of the OS works fluidly... I'm hopeful mountain lion will help and this should be fixable with further optimisations

Apparently its a browser limitation itself, as it can only access one core of the CPU, or so people on this forum have said.

Either way ML should hold significant improvements across the board, as it was basically designed for the rMBP, where as Lion compatibility was pretty much just thrown in there.

Just read on another thread, that even ML is not able to fix this issue, can someone with ML installed verify this, I am really starting to get pissed

Got mine this morning about 10:30, coming from my old HP Laptop it is stunning. First thing I noticed is how light it feels when you lift it up while in use, maybe that's because of the weight distribution with the lid up but it feels like a feather and fits in my bag perfectly with enough room for my 1000 page law books which is a win win. That was my only concern with buying a 15" laptop. I can't explain how nice the screen is, it's like reading off a printed page; just hoping the retina transition on some core apps will be relatively speedy.

The lag is a bit more noticeable than when I was playing with it in the Apple store, but I expected that to be the case when actually sitting down and using it on your own. I have quite low standards so I could put up with it, it's a compromise I'm happy to take although right now Facebook is quite bad so I do hope Mountain Lion can sort it out. I'm using 1400x900 btw, I'd imagine it is worse in the x1200 mode (which I can't use as I find it too small).

Very happy with it, my only gripe with it is how bad Pages/Word look, I didn't expect it to be like that and I do hope Apple can release an iWorks update pronto for it. It's silly how it wasn't updated on release. As long as they fix it before I go back to university I will happy.

Windows laptop is a HP Pavillion. I didn't even think it was that chunky until now!

I have tried pages like Facebook and the Macrumours Front Page and I can't really notice any lag, baring in mind I have come from a 2009 iMac which seemed acceptable to me even with just a Core 2 Duo. Even with the additional processing needed for the gorgeous display

I wouldn't say there's any noticeable lag, unless of course you're scrolling through at lighting speed, which means you wouldn't be able to see the content anyway!

Windows laptop is a HP Pavillion. I didn't even think it was that chunky until now!

My Windows Laptop is a fairly new Sony VAIO, I never even thought that was chunky until I put both side by side!

The display is just stunning though, even from a photo you can see theres much more clarity, although my iPhone 4S' camera and the scaling doesn't do it much justice.
