iPod touch UK order status thread

The time listed on the tracking has been confusing me. I had assumed that they would use the local time of the person enquiring (in my case GMT) but now I am not so sure...

Anyone got any ideas?

(I am talking about TNT by the way! :) )
 
uh oh, nobody is guna be in my house 2moro. guna have to leave uni early and get the train and bus first thing in the mornin, miss my 3 lectures. It better arrive!!
 
Ordered the day after they were announced but mine still seems to be sitting around in Arnhem, in spite of having arrived there a little time before others which have made their way to Liege. Predicted delivery of the 11th. Can't believe that (and if memory serves, it's been days off with a couple of other Apple deliveries). Just luck of the draw....

You should buy it from the US. It's about 50 pounds cheaper (tax inc.).

Does anyone know if apple UK will cover the gurantee (in case it breaks) of an iPod bought from the US?
 
I can barely understand or believe this, TNT, WEAK service! I really hope I'll get it by tomorrow! :mad:

You should do, I just went down there to pry it out of them, they had to get it off the van to give it to me. Fingers crossed for you.

When did you get this update? I ecpect mine to arrive on the same airport but my tracking hasnt updated... It's stuck there:

I'm not too sure when it updated. I checked at about 6:30 this morning when I got up and it was at Stansted.

Don't worry too much - the TNT site seems to be a little sluggish updating for some...

I know it's not much comfort, but it really is worth the wait. :eek:

Rather disappointed with the Wi-Fi though, does seem very weak. My router is downstairs, and my Mac gets a full signal but the touch seems to struggle.
 
How things change in a day. About this time yesterday TNT told me that I would definitely not have my hands on my touch until the 11th October, but I have woken up this morning to find.....

just call TNT its free:eek: and they have very helpful staff, they will tell you exactly what is going on, that goes for everyone who is unsure :confused:or doesnt have thier touch yet. BTW it is totaly worth every penny :apple:

hi m8, think mine was is in the same batch as urs and I just wanna ask a random question to you. Can't get a straight answer from anyone!
If u turn ur touch on and have ur headphones in but no music is playing can you hear anything? Such as a background fuzz? Itll be quiet mind. Let me know cheers mate. :)

Mine was in the same batch as well, and yes I can hear a very quiet background humming noise when no music is playing.

If I play music or video I can't hear the noise so I'm not too concerned.
