iPod touch UK order status thread

Yes I know about that criticism, but mine is week 38 and all im talking about is a background hiss even when the headphones are just in and nothing is being played. Like when browsing around on it. Havnt had an iPod so not sure if this is normal but im a perfectionist so I always hear stuff like that lol

A much better way of doing it is to go through TNT themselves.

Go to http://www.tnt.com/webtracker/tracker.do?navigation=1&respLang=en&respCountry=GENERIC

ANd where it says 'Consignment', just paste in your reference number from the Apple site where you click on 'Track this shipment'.

Wait there... I tried it out on my iPod 4G and 5G, it happens on there too.

Lol. Or it's your ears

Balls. I mean under the part that says 'Carrier Tracking Number' on the Apple site.

ANd if that doesn't work, type in the refernce number bit and click (on the TNT site) the bubble that says 'reference'

Try that :)

Unfortunately, I dont have a "Carrier Tracking Number" listed on the apple tracking page. And typing in the reference number doesn't work either:(

Oh well, i guess i'm screwed lol
 
Carrier Tracker No.

Hey, just wondering how long people had to wait for their carrier tracker number to be updated on the tracker page after their order 'shipped'. My order shipped on the 29th and i've been in the dark since?
Any ideas?

Well it came at 8pm :D, week 37, no problems, and latest update was on it
 
Oh, and In th U.K. What times do TNT deliver? Do they do it in the afternoon or evening, or just in the morning at like 8?

Never really used TNT so I don't know :confused:

Mine wont update. Now im really mad mines seemes to be really behind even TNT on the phone said it hasent reached there yet. Its been in a van for 48 hours on its way. Must be further then google maps says.

mine didnt work either, then the next day i had a new number and it worked fine on tnt site
 
ok finally I got the net working and I'm now posting on my touch!!! Net is awesome. As for the hiss thing I think its just me being petty,I can hardly hear ne background noise wen music plays, just wen nothin is on

I got exactly the same, when I phoned them they told me it never left the depot!
I don't think they are set up to cope with, you know, parcels :rolleyes:
 
isnt liege in belgum, in which case its slightly further away than it was this morning in netherlands? or is it so they can do the shortest channel crossing?

Hmmmm....I am getting confused. After being told this morning by TNT that because of the chinese national holiday my touch would not get into europe for another week, my tracking number now reveals......

my batch seems to be a few hours ahead of yours, im fingers crossed for 2moro cos im off to america the day after. Strange thing is that where it says 16:28, that was on there at 1pm today?! were they guessing? 22:37 was about right though.

and looking at previous pages 23/24 it looks like it usually gets to england the next day (alton or london for some reason?) then they are receiving them sometime before 8pm that day.

I rang them up just and he told me that he'll "try" and leave a note to the driver tomorrow to get mine delivered @ the earliest possible time. I sure hope so...but I mean, I haven't got anything like that before. TNT is probably one of the worst I've ever seen. I'll never ever use TNT AGAIN. PERIOD! I waited for it till three and almost got to work 15 mins late!
