iPod touch UK order status thread

And I ordered it on the 13th Sept. Very very chuffed. If it comes by Oct 1st I will be on Apples side thanking them for the good job.
Everyones should be saying Prepared.. now, because it takes a couple of days to ship, so that would mean about 28th for shipping. They are on target if everyones has now changed.

Mine still says "Not yet shipped" and I ordered on the 6th :(

does this mean we may get it sooner ??? or is it taking the slow boat from china so it takes a week to arrive?
 
Mine Changed to Prep for Shipment on Saturday, then Changed to out for shipment today, it should say prep for Shipment for 24/48 hours max i guess.

Yay - big thumbs up to Comet...I ordered online on Friday and it has been delivered today as promised. However...

Corinne Bailey Rae is on the box and it is from the dreaded 9C737 batch. Just about to open it to give it a go, but am fearing the worst....

Still no change,

At first I thought the iPod Touch was holding up my iMac but now I think my "stock configured" iMac is going to hold up my touch, still looking at the 10th for a delivery date, so still two weeks waiting for me,
 
Mine's changed to Prepared For Shipment as well. Only three days to go, I'm not surprised the status has changed. It should be in a day or so ship and then a few days for the thing to pass customs all the way from China.
 
Are Apple paying the Customs fee then, if they're shipping from China?? I don't really fancy being landed with an extra £70 bill all of a sudden!

You would have paid VAT at point of sale, if you did then they will not have to present it to customs. You only pay import tax on imported good which dont show that VAT has be paid on that article yet. I know theres more to it than that, but thats the basic idea.
 
I ordered my Touch (16GB, non-engraved) on the 10th on the Apple Store Germany, and it just changed to Prepared for Shipment today. The estimated shipping date is 28th September, to arrive by 3rd or 4th October.

Looks like all of Europe is running to roughly the same schedule.

Interestingly, my product code is 16G-ZDD, not ZOO...?
 
Probably since you've ordered in the Germany store as most people in this thread placed their orders via the UK store.
 
Am I the only person left in the UK with an iPod Touch pre-order without engraving who’s still waiting for it to change from “not yet shipped “to “prepared to ship”?
 
Nope, I'm still at "not yet shipped" but then again I only placed my order yesterday afternoon.

I had another fruitless trip to the Regent Street store yesterday so finally gave up and ordered online.

Ah, i ordered mine on the 10th
 
Still no update and only one more day until it’s suppose to ship, to be honest I don’t see it even being prepared to ship before Friday/Monday, Wish I hadn’t ordered from Apple Online now!
