lol . i havent recieved it yet ... its supposed to be freighted to the UK by the early hours of 2moz, then delivered i guess by van to you. It should arrive 2moz if there are no delays
... i gave them a ring at around 4pm today and they said i will receive it on friday probably afternoon.give them a ring, its free and open 24 hours a day i think.
btw, if you log onto the apple.com/store (US one) and log into your account there when you look at your oder status it will tell you which service apple are using to ship your ipod.

Well still no update to my shipping information, if UPS dont pick it up some time today then I can probably count on it missing my new delivery date of the 15th
Well, somehow mine is week 39. I suppose it doesn't make any difference as long as it week 38+.
I wonder if, when the the firmware is rolled back on the week 39 or 40's, the screen is any different or not...
Just a thought, and would tell a few things.
What the hell.. I phoned Argos. The guy said it won't be delivered until the 15th Oct now. He told me I should have got a phone call.. no I didn't. He then said he would phone me to say if it would be posted for saturday or not.. no he didn't. I asked if I could change the delivery address to my work address as no-one is going to be home all day on monday. He said that I can't do that. Argh!! there is no way I can get this from Argos? Can they not help customers!!! I am working now next week cos I had time off this week to collect it at home because of their 28th-12th date. At least I argued to get my postage costs back.. but then again I doubt he did that. What a complete sham! Don't order from Argos.

I sort of have the feeling I had to 'bump' Apple into dispatching it with a 'where is it?' call because it came the next day after that call. It's almost as if they are prioritizing shipping 'by demand'!..
For those who are waiting - don't despair - it really is worth the wait - After playing with it I simply can't think of another piece of technology on the planet that can stand against this. Forget all the crap you've read from web-agent provocateurs - I got a week 37 and no negative screen issue at all - totally amazing pixel definition as well - this thing really is beamed in from the year 2020. Just incredible.

10 days from being built and shipped to me isn't too bad (apple.com/ukstore) i got mine from, also it is engraved and all that jazz.ipod touch from argos

Yep, I'm in the same position as you buddy. They haven't called me ONCE, and haven't told me anything about the delivery date being pushed back, the only way I've found out is either by ringing them up or on these forums! I'm not even convinced it's going to arrive on monday...
What also really annoys me is how they speaking to me like I'm some kind of moron, telling me that its 'not released' yet and they'll let me know when the 'launch date' is. GRR.

Wow thats fast, mines been on order for 31 days which mean 15 days since release and I dont even look like Im going to be getting mine on Monday, I also chose no engraving! I think apple have done one to everyone that pre-ordered with them

i hope you get yours soon !... well basically i was looking for them in shops for a week before i ordered it online, so if you count them i've been waiting 17 days lol, still less than you somehow :O.

Well i ordered an iMac with my iPod Touch but my iMac was just stock configured so i cant see why it would hold it up since they say they can ship them in 3 days.
The order status page just came back online and I've checked to see if they have updated my shipping information but they haven't, the best part is one line says "Estimated Delivery Date 13 Oct 2007 (Subject to change)" and then the second line says "Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 13 Oct 2007" So how come my iPod and iMac aren't in my hands right now?
If it doesn't turn up on Monday I'm seriously thinking of phoning them up and telling them to shove there iMac and iPod up there arse!
hmm weird, mine was delayed (couldnt recieve it on friday 12th october) so on the apple website says 12th october still but say its been delayed.)
try logging into your account on the apple.com/store (US) site it should state which courier its going through.
remember when ordering direct from apple, they pretty much build your ipod touch and imac from scratch. btw i have heard that people with imac's and ipod touches who ordered them at the same time get delays because the items have to merge in a UK warehouse before shipped to you (i guess so both arrive at the same time), also im guessing that it will be delivered via UPS
