Good news munky - got my email at about 9:50 this morning. And a text from o2 saying they were sorry I had such a bad time on Monday and would I like to order another!
 
Mine looks complete too, no texts as only entered my home phone number and seems they won't text to that unfortunately, but mine says

Parcel Picked Up 10/07/08 10:55 O2 - CUSTOMER LOCATION
Shipment Data Received 10/07/08 LEEDS SERVICE CENTRE

so looks good.
 
I just got a text from O2 this very minute. it says:

"O2: Congratulations your Apple iPhone will be couriered to you on Friday 11 July. Certain postcodes are excluded. See www.o2.co.uk/pc for more details."

All the postcodes are in Scotland. I am not, so it looks certain for tomorrow! 😀 Anyone else get this text?

*Edit* Just some info. It was an upgrade from simplicity. I went for 8GB on £45/month. Ordered through Failover, not sure the time though, as I did it so many times, but was on there all morning. So could've gone through really early or late.

Still shown as "In Progress", first CS told me they were out of stock, second then said they are still bing allocated and they should all be done by 6pm😡😡😡😡

Just got a text from o2 stating - congrats the iphone will be couriered to my by tomorrow" yipppeee

ordered on the 7th at 10.30am
no emails
yesterday at 2pm got order complete status
yesterday at 3pm got my dhl tracking number

It was a new contract 😀 😀 😀

Ordered at 8.30am on 7th!!.

I got exactly the same text, on on the phone right now, but their telling me they can't give me any further info.😡😡😡
 
Has anyones tracking changed from "parcel picked up" at O2 - customer location yet?

I am not worried about the phone being delayed but I am keen to see some movement as its been 14 hours since an update! It could well be at my locak depot by now!
 
Not sure what time I succesfully ordered but was around lunchtime ish and after the problems with the website during the morning. New customer with an 8gb, just had my congratulations text and confirmation of delivery tomorrow. Assuming my wife has had hers as well as she had all the same emails and DHL numbers that I've had.

Had all the emails and texts that others have had. Hope for those that ordered later in the day then🙂
 
Good stuff here, got a DHL number and received the text saying I'd get my iPhone tomorrow. I checked the post codes and noticed there were quite a few in the Glasgow area but not mine thankfully. I checked out where these post codes in 'Glasgow' were and I'm not sure they quite count as Glasgow...

HS9 is the Isle of Barra
KA28 is the Isle of Cumbrae
KW15 is Orkney
And so on....

you can check these on Google Maps 😀
 
They've told me that I still may get it delivered tomorrow. Apparently it's "with the warehouse awaiting allocation"

But, if I don't get any confirmation tonight, I'm going to the shop tomorrow, getting one there (hopefully) and canceling this original order.
 
Just got off the phone to O2 and they have told me that i WON'T be getting a phone tomorrow. 😱Bloody idiots.

I ordered the thing at 8.40, they take my payment, they send a text to say it's been accepted, peeps on here ordered theirs after me who have iPhones dispatched and here I am with ZERO chance of getting it tomorrow.

First come first served my arse.

Apparently my postcode is in the extra day delivery zone.....aaarrrgghh

Aberdeen isn't the Highlands...its got direct links to everywhere and is the Oil Capital of the UK anyway....called DHL, spoke to a nice woman called Christine, who has faxed the Leeds branch (where my phone is) to get them to send it to Aberdeen tonight so I can pick it up from the depot tomorrow.....got to call at 8am to see if its there....

They dont make it easy !!!

EDIT: Just checked the poscode list and Aberdeen & Inverness are the only 2 mainland areas in the Uk DHL cant do a next day delivery to....

Well, there's a coincidence!!

Have we discovered why some of us, who ordered early, have been missed out????

My guess is, for that range of orders, something happened on their server which caused them to miss us out - and they're only finding out about us when we call to complain we've not heard anything since Monday morning.

You do know that it's not going to be the person in the call centre's fault, don't you? And that the ruder, more obnoxious a caller is, the less inclined anyone is going to be to try to help them out...

At least start being polite and adult but be reasonable in terms of what you expect to get out of it. If you just want to let steam off without achieving anything (which is what will happen if you just call and shout at the first person), you'll save yourself cash and someone else some pain by not bothering to dial first.
 
Well!

They have said my order is showing on there systems as out of stock.
However all orders apparently show out of stock on there system until they have been processed.

They are still processing orders and will be up until 9pm this evening. So he said I could still get it tomorrow.

My thoughts are I have more chance of winning the Lottery.
