A new O2 customer here, ordered a 16GB Black at around 8.20am.

I've had an order number since I ordered it but no confirmation emails and no DHL tracking number. My pal who works at O2 has told me that as long as something doesn't go wrong with DHL we should all be fine for Friday. However, we're at the point where something could go wrong at DHL so all we can do is hope

Knowing my luck I will get a tracking number, it will get dispatched, and then the van will get a puncture.
 
Still never recieved any emails from o2 despite ordering 16gb black at 8:30 however i just got a little bit excited

when i click on track your order tab it just comes up with "You are Successfully Signed In " any idea how to check my status ????
 
You need to sign out of the O2 website and then sign back in from the homepage.

Then click on the My O2 link on the left hand menu, you should be able to see My Orders listed on the My O2 screen.

Just came back from watching "The Bill" and I have a DHL tracking number.

16gb
8.48am order
still no e-mails.
 
I ordered a 16GB iPhone on a new connection @ 0810 and it was confirmed by e-mail 11secs later. Have only had my credit card charged today, and only just had my consignment number.

Word from o2 CS is "if your card has been charged, you will get a phone on friday".
 
That's what's annoying - I ordered just after 9am, got the 3 emails and nothing. Some orders placed around midday have gone through and been allocated.

If it doesn't show up as completed by tomorrow I am intending to go to a store on Friday and get one. My concern now is whether they will turn me away as the system will show that I already have an order in progress. ARGH!

This is what I am really concerned about too. Hmm:confused:

Don't. Mines even stranger. I have to log out, log in, click track then the track picture then get a "thank you for signing in message" then click home, click track, track picture, get sent to "my o2". click home, click track, track picture and I'm finally there. without fail going round 3 times like this is how it works for me!

Looks like they are starting to get through the scanning of the DHL labels on all the phones they boxed up yesterday and this morning....

I think that they have been packing the orders in the order they received them, but then stacking the boxes in such a way that when they started the scanning of the labels it was the later orders which were scanned first because they were at the front of the pile.

Hopefully there will be more earlier orders getting their tracking numbers through the night.
 
Just got my dispatch confirmation - looks like I won't be suing O2 afterall!!

I ordered a 16GB upgrade through the failover page at 2 something on Monday!!
 
Just realised that in MyO2 the contract is now showing as expiring on 8th November 2010...

That is the 10 months that was remaining on my old contract (an iPhone one from launch day last year) plus the new 18 months agreed to when I upgraded on Monday.

So does this mean that the new 18 months is on top of your existing contract or that they have made a mistake in the system?

My accounts showing the same - 27 months untill then end of contract!!!

Seems like a glitch - i'm sure o2 will correct it......eventually

Just got my DHL number thru too, Just as I was losing all faith. ( Although I will miss the delivery as always).

Keep your chins up, it looks like they are on a caffeine fuelled late shift tonight.

Mine was 16gb ordered at 08:40..they got to us in the end.

Hope everyone ends up having a good friday.
 
I have a DHL shipping number now, just got it through. It says it has been shipped too!!!
