UK- Post if you have a shipping number

markleshark - congrats mate! How did you know? Just by virtue of the email?

I got home about half hour ago and really hoped for an email or something - as of yet nothing and order still "in progress"! Oh well, I'll try and patiently wait (which means constant logging in to myO2, logging out, logging in, refreshing, refreshing again and again and again!)

I think maybe the best thing for us to do is give it a good hour or two. Maybe go play Xbox or watch something on BBC iPlayer, then come back and I bet that most of us will have tracking numbers :D

Am still waiting, been doing that for past 10hrs and still "in progress":(

Good call! Despite having work very early tomorrow - loads to do due to day off Friday - I think I will stay up until that damn number appears!

Do you know how we tell when we have a tracking number? Is it merely by email confirmation? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

I got en email glanv. My tracking details have appeared on my order page but at the moment it still says In Progress.

Heres to hoping yours arrived soon mate. :D

My order (16Gb, upgrade for existing iPhone) is now completed under MyO2, and has a DHL tracking number. I ordered at about 10am or so using the Failback page.
 
Will be joining you there!

Have macforums.com / MyO2 page / O2 forums and webmail all open. I go through a set sequence of refresh and then move on :)
 
I still haven't got an e-mail.

The order summary on the O2 site still says 'Inp Progress' as it has all along.


However, If I click on the order number it shows my DHL tracking number. You *may* not get an e-mail about it - I wouldn't want you sitting staring at 'Mail' all night.

Where, once you click on the order in My O2, is the DHL tracking number? Should it be in the 'Delivery Option' box? Mine currently says 'not applicable' for that field in the order table.
 
Woo Hoo! I have a DHL Tracking Number! 16Gb iPhone, upgrading from 8Gb iPhone, ordered at 12:40 on Monday after finally getting all the way through the nasty ajaxy order process :)
 
16GB - 8:40am order
Order is "In progress" but I can now see the DHL consignment on the Orders page. No email, however...

Done well yogamonkey! Must be a nice feeling. I continue to sit and wait (and refresh). Hopefully be soon and I can get an early night!

Mine says the same.

But under the price inc VAT I now have a new table showing

Consignment number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Courier name: DHL View order tracking
Dispatch date: 9th July 2008

Order completed at 0810 so hoping they are doing it in reverse order! Probabl wishful thinking, most likely just according to how they,ve been stacked for processing. How about yourself? Was yours a new or upgrade?

Received the 2 emails with order number
on my O2 "in progress"
But the postcode on my delivery address is incorrect! Its for another area! But the rest of my address is correct. Ill give them a call tomorrow morning about changing it but it may be too late by then.

Does anybody know how the couriers would deal with this? If the address is for one house, but the postcode is for another house?:confused: ,

i think im doing a good job of definitely not receiving my phone on Friday!

I too hate that "in progress"! Soon it will happen...one by one we'll get that number and gracefully exit the forum!
 
Even though I have a DHL reference, I'm still "in progress" too. Haven't had a single email throughout the whole sorry affair.

Not sure on that one...hopefully they'll realise the post code doesn't marry up to the street. Is the post code similar to yours? i.e, around the same area? If so, most delivery drivers do regular rounds and will know the area well enough to find you. At the end of day it is better to have the post code wrong as it applies to a group of houses, your number and street name apply to one house.

Hope it doesn't cause you a problem :)

Thanks for the info! Makes me feel a bit better. But the postcode is for a "totally" different area, so you never know, I reckon it may be delayed by a few days because of this. I was so frantically trying to submit the form on that fateful monday afternoon, that I had a moment of madness and put in my old postcode!
