UK- Post if you have a shipping number

Has everyone watching/posting to this thread and still waiting for tracking number been charged? My payment came out today.

Yeah my payments come out too, they said if I cancel now id get it back but it could take upto 14days!
 
PROGRESS!!! for me anyway...i was charged yesterday! I didn't realise...that's cheered me up. I thought you'd all been charged and I hadn't! :)
 
It looks to me like we're all in a similar situation, ordered around the same time, and are also all as sad as each other!

Mind you, if it ends up that we don't get an iPhone on Friday, I will be more than a little miffed..... we didn't exactly hang around ordering on Monday.


EDIT : Just realised I'm the only Newbie amongst us too.....

Not sure how late I'll stay up, probably at least another wee while. Still waiting for a tracking number.

Just a thought, it might be worth trying deleting your web cache, your browser might be showing old information.

Deffo not - Mine was ordered by 8.30 from memory!
 
I somehow seriously doubt that our orders will be updated tonight.

I will bid you all goodnight and no doubt will pick this up tomorrow morning with you all.

Well that slowed things down a bit!

Have there been any reports of any new customers getting shipping numbers for 16gb units which were ordered Monday morning?

I ordered at 9:28, had my 3 emails but still 'in progress'

Getting very fed-up now!

Anyone got any news?

Still nothing here. I'm guessing maybe the DHL people have gone home now. Perhaps we'll start seeing people getting numbers again at around 9.00am tomorrow.

I think I'll go to bed. Night.
 
It's nearly midnight. I'd guess that the despatch warehouse probably closes at 10pm when the last carrier truck leaves. It's expensive having a warehouse running overnight if you don't have to.

I'm guessing (and hoping ;)) that around 7-8am when the morning crew clock in, the despatch emails will start arriving again. Bear in mind that if you live in an urban area, so long as it leaves the warehouse by about 10pm on Thursday night, you've got a 98% probability of it showing up on Friday.
 
i've ordered an 8gb, my order is complete, i have a shipping number and the money has came out of my account - so does this mean the credit check has already been done, or does that get done when you activate the phone with itunes??
 
Ugh, I was hoping mine would have changed by now. Still on "In progress" and very :mad:

Ordered: 08:50 (7th)
1st "confirm" email: 09:00ish
2nd "move to warehouse" email: 10 seconds later
3rd "info" email: couple hours later
Money taken: 8th
Status: In Progrss :mad::(:mad::(

So much for first come first served if some are getting completed orders when they ordered hours later and didn't get email confirmations for days later, or money taken until just now!

You might not need to worry about it as the status for mine (which had a shipping number quite early) has now changed to:

Status Date Time Signatory Branch
Parcel Picked Up 10/07/08 04:06 O2 - CUSTOMER LOCATION
Shipment Data Received 09/07/08 LEEDS SERVICE CENTRE

Judging by the times I don't think that anybody will be getting them until friday which leaves the rest of today for further orders to be picked up.

Have got an order "In Progress", which has appeared overnight on MyO2.

8Gb. Ordered on FailBack page on Monday about 2pm, just before system switched to Out of Stock!
 
Awwww Maaaaaaaaaannnnnn!!!

Still no advancement on my order of a 16GB by half eight on Monday. Had an order number and three emails from O2 by 9am. Charged my credit card on Tuesday and it still says "In Progress" :(:confused:
 
As long as they go out by later on this afternoon you should still receive them tomorrow.

I know it sucks waiting (HEck, I was doing it until last night) but it's all you can do at the moment.

I'll be hoping you get your numbers anyway. Good luck.
 
It's been overnight. The warehouse may not work overnight so nothing has probably shifted (aside from the customer service night shift keying through a few new ones) since midnight.

Sure we'll start seeing more shipping numbers going out over the course of the day and as long as it's picked up by 10pm or so, the next day delivery should still be OK <chews off another fingernail> ;)
