Knowing my luck even if O2 manage to get my order out. DHL will either f*ck up the delivery, I''ll miss the delivery guy on Friday or the DHL van will get hijacked on route.:rolleyes:
 
What do you all think the cut-off time is for us to get the phones tomorrow? i.e. the latest for o2 to give the phones to dhl to still get them here for tomorrow?
 
My 16GB iPhone 3G has been dispatched and my order status is complete! I'm an existing O2 iPhone owner too so it looks like some upgrades did work?

Just woke up, looked at my iPhone and....

...I have my DHL consignment number!!!!

Ordered a 16GB new contract at 9:12...can relax at last!
 
Well it's taken me 8 pages to reply with something, so here I am and I'm still in progress. Man, I figured that at least overnight they would have got it sorted. I mean they are leaving it a little late don't you think.
 
My order status is still 'in progress' but to make matters worse - I can't check my emails because I'm using a .Mac account and the whole site is down. I don't have any other way of checking my mail! I completed my order by 8:20am on Monday so if I don't get one I will be very frustrated!
 
Yay! My O2 Status = Complete, and I now have a DHL tracking number!! :D

I am officially doing the dance of joy. The odd looks from my work collegues mean nothing. :)
 
I'm just been told by O2 that my order has been placed although I might not received the phone until Monday!!!!!!
 
I am a new customer to 02 and purchased the 16gb at 08:54am. Yesterday my credit card was debited by 02 and I was issued a DHL tracking number which I found through My 02. Interstingly, I have not received an e-mail saying that my iphone has been despatched, but DHL tracking shows otherwise.

Has anyone been told by O2 that having an order number and being charged means that they will definitely receive a phone from the initial stock?

I have to access 'track your order' from the help menu in 'my o2' under 'iphone help'. I have read that a lot of you have a 'My orders' button on your my o2 page. I have used Safari and Firefox and the button doesn't show up.
Where does the 'my orders' button show in the menu?

got mine

I got my shipping ref sometime between 5:30 - 6:30 last night.

My order ref only came through yesterday morning as I got mine from the failover form.

I'm a existing iPhone user getting a 16Gb phone.

My other half and I tried till the out of stock came up so I don't know what time I got as other half was trying the tailback form and I tried both it and the flash ordering.

That's how mine looks also, No "My Orders" button and I'm at work using IE. Same, ordered before 8.45am 16Gb, order number on-001324***, got email to confirm order but still showing as "In Progress" :mad:
 
My shipping data from DHL now says " O2 - CUSTOMER LOCATION" at 3:10am... So does that mean it's on its way?!
 
click on the home tab just above where it says welcome back terry and then its the bottom option under Help & support on the left had side

my order was between 08:20 and 08:30 monday for the 16gb (on-0013227**) and the money was actually taken on Monday (shows as 07/07/2008 when i check my account online) and I haven't heard anything from O2 at all
 
I ordered a 16Gb iPhone on Monday at about 8:10 (new customer) and my order page just updated with the tracking info! Looks like they're still processing orders. :)

I'm so excited now!! :D
 
Whooop!

Finally! Logged into the new, revamped My O2 section and my order has changed to Complete and i have a DHL number!

I am a new customer, 16GB £45pm, ordered approximately 10am on Monday. I still have not received any form of confirmation from O2 by email!

IIRC, from DHLs point of view O2 are their customer not you, therefore O2 - Customer Location means they have collected the package from O2.

No chance of it arriving today, I fear!

Since the tracking is DHL's, my guess is that the "Customer location" they're referring to is O2, since O2 are their customer.
 
Oh well I'll wait! I have a dispatch code from DHL and even my first bill fromO2 but my orders still says "You currently have no orders" odd innit?
