Will publish my one year later review of my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro.

Question I want to ask, what if they decide to just use the same chassis and don’t change much but the internals?

As nice as that'll be, I'll believe it when I see it.

This article says "will have" in a whole lot of places where it ought to say "is rumored to have", unless they've seen internal Apple documents confirming these "facts". And the one about "MagSafe will replace USB-C" surprised me, as I suspect that if they do add MagSafe (which I'd love to see return), they'll still allow USB-C charging, since it's so convenient for so many people.

The transition still isn't 2 years until next November. This show is close to the one year anniversary. Lots they could announce after this show.

So, they've already got various models of Mac laptops out in the field with M1 chips, that everyone and their grandmother know are really damn fast... and the entirety of the message in this announcement is, things are going to be really super crazy fast, like ludicrous speed. That has me pretty hopeful.
