You can go to the att unlock site respond to the email and it will say congrats that's what I did

Home Depot retail stores take PayPal at checkout.

Haha, and looked how home depot got hacked! I don't understand what the point of paypal is? It's not a bank, it's a 3rd party transaction with zero benefit to the user. You still have to load a credit card, debit card, or checking account to use paypal. Why not just skip paypal and use a credit card to buy something online or in a store? Did you ever read the privacy policy of paypal? They pretty much sell your info to the lowest bidder.

Anyways the swift unlock worked, only took 2 days. Deleting my paypal account.

I can appreciate you not understanding of paypal, how or why it works but home depot getting their customers credit card accounts leaked is exactly the opposite. Those that did use paypal did not get their credit cards compromised.
Get it?
Paypal puts a layer of protection between you, the store and the potential hackers.
Same thing with the added layer of security emv chip cards provide and contactless payments such as apple pay and NFC transactions.
If the merchant's database gets compromised then criminals do not get valid credit card account numbers that they can use for unauthorized purchases.
At least research it a little bit before making remarks such as above.
If you dont like it its another thing, claiming only ebay uses it and its shady, its like bitcoin and other things you posted above are inaccurate.
At least now you agree that swifts is good and not fake or shady?

FYI Request the unlock online. I have two iPhone 6's both on NEXT and both are not paid off yet.

I requested an unlock via their website. with my iPhone 6 and it was unlocked immediately.

I then requested for my wife (who is going to Japan in March and wants to use her phone) and it was denied because it said it was in contract.
I sent in a second request and it said it was denied because of NEXT. I sent in a 3rd request and they said, congratulations your phone is now unlocked.

I tested both phones with my sim out of my work phone (verizon).

Bottom line, request on their website and then request again and again and you will get it unlocked for free.

Did you do this request over a couple of days or all in the same day?

So it looks like AT&t has changed their unlock webpage ... seems as if IMEIs that are still in contract won't even get through the unlock request - anyone know about this?

This device isn’t eligible to be unlocked now because all of the installment payments have not been paid.
Log in to your account to check your payoff information and pay the installments online.
You can submit a new request 24 hours after you make the payment.

Thanks a Lot!!!

You can pay a 3rd party unlocker but they are pretty expensive now for AT&T iphone unlocks.
Im glad mine was only $10 a while ago before I switched to Tmobile.

When you say expensive, what ball park figure? Also any idea who might provide unlock and how can I look up?
I tried a few ebay yesterday, but looks like they want you to pay before and no guarantee..

I am willing to pay (not too expensive though), if they can unlock it..

Why are you trying to unlock when you haven't paid it off?

Everyone would want you to pay before obviously.
You don't get it unlocked and pay later.
Look for swiftunlocks website.
I used his services many times with no probs.
He currently charges $80 for att iPhones.

Why are you trying to unlock when you haven't paid it off?
Bought it off Craigslist. The guy said it is unlocked. I put in a T-Mobile sim and it showed LTE signal, but I didn't go pass the activate screen, no WIFI. Now it appears it is not unlocked..

The poster above you is correct. It has changed. It won't let you send an unlock request anymore. It checks the IMEI and your account information first, before submitting.
I can confirm. Guess we can't use this workaround anymore.

I also am having trouble with it. The 3 trick request is not working for me.

I can confirm that yesterday, September 1, 2016 at 11:49PM PST, I submitted my unlock request to AT&T via the website the OP specified. 9 minutes later, I received an email saying my phone unlock request was successful.
Facts about my iPhone 6 Plus- Not paid off in full, 10 months remaining on the NEXT portion. Cancelled my line of service a day prior, unpaid balance remained.
I selected NOT an AT&T subscriber, entered my name and email and VOILA, worked like a charm.
I was expecting to wait the whole 48 hours to be told no and then pay $29.99 at some UK website for an unlock. I'm glad I stumbled upon this.

Hi Guys.

I'm new in this forum. I bought Iphone 5 from ebay, and its locked to ATT. I trying to unlock with 3rd party service, and no success, because the guy, who is trying the unlock says: under contract, and its not possible. I'm confused, because I want to use the hungarian network. I was check my Iphone 5 status on the ATT unlock site, and says, the account is active. I cannot reach the owner, whos sell this phone.

If somebody knows, how can I unlock, please tell me.

Thx
