I ordered this case last tuesday, and had it on my iPhone friday. They have great online customer service and obviously the case is in stock and shipping was fast. From what I can tell it's exactly like similar cases that completely cover the screen.

I bought the Countour iSee from the apple store shortly after launch day and wasn't happy with the plastic button covers, and as mentioned once you set the silent switch to vibrate it was very difficult to switch it back, but it is possible.

can you post some pics? ;) how was it?

I really like this case compared to the iSee, it doesn't add much bulk or weight, and the little round nubs on the back make it sit on the desk better without wobbling everywhere.

*Edit* in the pics you cant see the home button, it is there and the cut out is perfect. I'm also using this case with the crystal screen protector film installed with no problems at all

thanks for the pics! looks beautiful! :p

So there's a stand built in the case per your first pic:eek:? That's awesome if there is. You have a white iphone so it's probably not obvious, but does the back scratch easily? I mean not a bad scratch, but more like hairline scratches? That's one thing I hate about my Gear4 Icebox and I have a black iphone so it's more obvious. How hard it is to remove the case from your iphone? I kinda like the clean look on the back of your case, no brand name, but yours is kinda covering the Iphone name on the back with that little nub, mine has the brand name of the case but you can still see the name 'Iphone' clearly on the back.

I've noticed some scratches in the back of the case, but nothing major. They might stand out more against a black phone, but maybe not. The little stand in the picture is one that came with the case I have on my iPod touch, it was the only way I could get a decent pic of the side of the phone. The case works just like they show on the website. It goes on and comes off very easily, no coin needed like the iSee case.

Does this case work good in the docs?

I have just bought my first ever see through case. The Agent18 one is simply the best hardcase I have used so far. I have used the Griffin Wave and Capsule Rebel.

Best thing about the Agent18 one is that it doesn't add much bulk to the phone. Also functionality-wise it doesn't impair anything.

Think I may have a hard time to ditch this when my Vaja leather flip case arrives!

You post about the Agent 18 case...but which one do you have? This one?

Anyone know of one that is simple, thin, and does not cover the face like this one? This one is from eBay and from Hong Kong which I'm kinda skeptic about for 6 bucks I don't have much to lose.

you don't have to go buy in hongkong to get a clear case, just read thru all the post on this thread from the beginning and you'll find links that sell cases that you might like and looks legitimate site, and I think better than what you posted. The pic of the case you posted is kind of the countour isee which I had originally but did not like it. check out the gear4 icebox from gear4 cases or the Xylo T3 from ivyskin cases, it covers the front of the iphone too! ;)

Thanks for the response but the three you mentioned covers the face entirely. I would like one that covers only to the edges(like the picture I posted) so that if I set it down on its face I dont scratch the face of the case only the sides.

Those naked cases are hands down, the ugliest things you can put on your iPhone.

But they are the only cases that will totally protect your Iphone 3G...if you drop it the wrong way, you will crack the glass....even if you have a screen protector...they only way to combat this is a naked based case.

I don't have a dock so I can't answer that

I just think they are not very attractive and that they make the iPhone look incredibly cheap. Just my two cents...

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, I think this is the best case I've seen for my phone, and it keeps much of the original style of the phone with adding extra protection that some of us need.

I ordered one this morning and they already shipped it. I live in Texas...so I should get it tommorrow or thursday at the latest. I will tell you how I like it. I still have the naked case on order too. I will keep that one when it comes in. It is always good to have a backup case...just in case the case get scratched or cracked.

My Iphone I just got yesterday. It is perfect..no flaws....and it works perfect. I updated to 2.0.1...with no issues. I am just afraid to really use the phone without a case.

I got my iphone from ATT. I use the direct fullilment and order a 16 GB black on 7/24/2008....it only took them 10 days to get it. It only took ATT 10 mins of my time to set up the phone. It is amazing why the apple stores are taking so long to set up people. There were some porting issues..but it was because of sprints fault. I am good to go now.

The Iphone is definately worth the price and effort.

I can not wait till the next version of the iphone comes out.

Please keep us updated if any of these clear cases end up scratching the chrome bezel like crazy on your new 3g. On my original iPhone, the Belkin, Griffin, Agent 18 clear cases all ended up scratching the chrome on my iPhone bezel like crazy. I also read that silicon ones also end up scratching up the bezel.
