I just got my ivyskin today and I'd like to say I'm disappointed. First I tried to look for that supposedly plastic film cover on front of the cover case but
I don't know guys, i've tried for a couple hours now but still cannot find that plastic film. It seems most of you guys with the films got it from ebay. I bought mine direct from ivyskin. I wish somebody here who bought directly from ivyskin recently can confirm of the plastic film if it exist. Now I don't really have any complaints, the front cover of the case is crystal clear, so that's why I'm really thinking there really is no film over it, but then there are annoying hairline scratches now just from wiping it so that alone makes me think that there is a film? Is this suppose to be anti-scratch? Also the touch screen doesn't respond very well on this case I'm thinking because of the film but I read on this post even without the film that is still the problem on this case.

I'm very disappointed on this case, the front side of the case seems flimsy, not as well built as I expect, and for some reason, I'm having a hard time closing or opening the case, the problem is in sliding the back of the case to the front of the case in or out.

I have to admit I'm comparing this to my Gear4 Icebox case, I don't have a problem getting the iphone in or out the icebox case, the front case is scratch resistant, I've had it for 3 weeks now and not one hairline scratch on it although the back of the case has a lot hairline scratches but I'm not looking at it anyway so no problem there. But the biggest difference is the response of the touch screen with the icebox case, the iphone responds very well on the icebox case even at a very light touch but the ivyskin is non-responsive most of the time, especially with the swiping part which is what I do most of the time on my iphone.

And so I probably have to return this case unless somebody else here can convince me otherwise.

I bought this case off of ebay for $19.99 + shipping. It's a Gear4 Icebox knockoff but it works great! No problems with the responsiveness of the touch and I thought I would have problems with dust getting it but I cleaned the case really well before I put the phone in and have not had to open the case to clean the iPhone at all.

No scratches on the metal. Yet. :D

this is actually a knockoff of ivyskin, not Gear4 Icebox. I probably should have bought this knockoff instead of the one I bought directly from ivyskin, see my review of the ivyskin case above. Although I'm glad I bought the Icebox first and so I'm returning my ivyskin and going to keep my Icebox and will continue to search for a better clear case.

these full clear iphone cases, does it effect the touch screen at all? Any more than say a screen protector? I currently have the iSee case, with a screen protector. However the iSee it is nice and sleek but the second i drop it i have a feeling the case is going to pop open like an easter egg. I really want one of these full clear cases.

check out the Gear4 Icebox case on the above link. I'm pretty happy with it compared to ivyskin. And like i said on my recent post here, the touch screen on the icebox respond very well but the ivyskin most of the time not. you also have a lot of other choice of clear cases here on this thread just read thru them but so far my case of choice is the Icebox but I'm still searching also for a better clear case out there.;)

I had recentley purchased the ivyskin touch thru invisible full cover case and all i have to say is that it completey sucks....the touch thryough that it claims to have is terrible, it works but u gotta apply force to get it working, it is like using the touch on an lg voyager. It is also clunky, it ruins the back of the iphone, it adds a squarish raise on the back as in the iphone is no longer smooth and it constantly comes undone because locking the two pieices is terrible. Also i thought docking it would be easy, but the flipping case adds a lot to the bottom making it impossible to dock...don't buy this case

Is anyone else having headphone connection problems with their fommy case?

Thanks

I ordered the case from fommy, and not only did it take a long time to get here (I am in KY), they also did not send my complete order, and didn't bother to tell me until I got the package which had a note in it. So I am not happy.

Anyway, I am not happy with the case at all. For $30 I expected a lot more. I am quite confident that the fommy case, is the same as the ivyskin, nutouch, and all the other similar cases. I have great difficulity getting the case to "close" all the way as the top constantly comes apart. Also unless you use the iphone headphones your connector may not fit, or will cause the case to pop apart. And, although it claimes to be dock and charger compatiable it clearly is not as the case pops apart when you try to connect the cord. I will be calling fommy first thing tomorrow to first find out where the rest of my order is and second, send all this garbage back! It is definitely not worth $30!

The search for an acceptable case continues.

Agent 18 Clearshield and iPhone dock?

Anyone that bought the Agen 18 Clearshield has used it with the iPhone dock? Their site says it is compatible and I just wondered if this is true?

I have one of these membrane acrylic cases that covers the face but still allows you to write on it, but the amount of bubbles you get is really annoying. Is there a way I can either uniformly attach it to the membrane or prevent it from touching at all so my screen looks uniformly lit?

looks like we forgot about the Power Support Air Jacket and the SGP ultrathin both really great looking cases that compliment the aesthetics of your phone. bad part is neither cover the chrome besel
