The video is FAKE. Check out how messed up 0:51 is.

It's not fake. If you scratch with 2 fingers it moves the slider automatically for you.

you think a serious dj would use this?

lol

Some of the other audio apps look good but this is just another 'game' suitable for consumers to buy and then delete after a week.

While this won't replace my Pioneer DJM600 and MEV for my pro gigs it is an amazing piece of kit.
I can see me taking it to regular parties or dinners and being able to put down a set if the need was there. So what it's mono!
This and other sound apps is exactly what I was waiting to see come to the iPad.
Now we need an Ableton Live and Traktor app. :D

I think this will be really cool. iDJ by numark is not really that great..or good at all actually.

Ok mark that one off the idea board. Had that sketched up a year ago with no takers. Secret project #11 still going strong and no sign of a copy cat yet.

Like I said, microwave DJ's all over the world are popping boners over this

Real DJ's are busy stocking up on 1200's before they're gone

Please define "Real DJ's".

Coachingguy

A DJ who put in the time to learn how to beat match by ear. As opposed to someone with a huge MP3 collection who lets an automix do all the work

Or a turntablist who realizes off the bat a virtual fader is a joke because you can't crab scratch with it

Take your pick

The real-time AirPlay may be possible... if you have 4.2 already and stream from an iPhone, try adjusting the volume slider. The volume change is real-time.
