Since I live near the main sorting facility in my area, I stopped by and requested to have it held there. I won't be tied to the house all day and the facility is 2 miles from my house :)

Nice. :) Did they specify that it'd be there in the morning, pre-delivery? Or just at some point in the day?
 
If you sign up for free my choice, it will show you a 4 hour window of when it may be delivered. If you are a paid member the earliest two hour window you can choose from is, what ever is showing on your free delivery window. Mine happens to be 12:30-4:45, So i chose 12:30-2:30.
 
Finally in the green again! Says delivers by 10:30 but I don't think it's guaranteed for iPhones.
 
I called UPS they confirmed to me that if you select will call it is available the next business day. I guess I have to wait until Monday? That hurts especially since it says the will call location is open saturday. :(

You can cancel it. Just follow the same steps you did to set it up and there should be an option to cancel it.

That is not true. I did request to pick up but at first it's telling me to pick up on the 24 but then when I wanted to double check it says to pick up on the 21. So you might able to do a same day delivery pick.

You are right! I did the same thing and it now says available 9/21 for pickup.
 
has one used the pick up at UPS store estimate the 24th and be changed to 21? I want to do that so i can pick it up close to home instead of work (but my home doesnt deliver until 8pm some times but the UPS store across the street gets shipments 10AM everyday.)

I get this occasionally when using google chrome, try a different browser?
 
I just chatted with someone online who i think was really helpful.

If you place for will call today, earliest is the next business day (Monday) like many say.

BUT, once the package arrives your local UPS facility (it should update in the status), as soon as it arrives, you can then place the will call for the same day pickup (Friday). Try to place will call as early as you can, possibly before they even open (of course after it arrives to facility). When they receive your will call request, they will hold your package( not make any delivery attempt) and CALL you to confirm with you a time window that you can pick up on Friday.

I was able to change my UPS delivery to Will Call, it initially said 9/24, but when I go back into the UPS website, it's updated to 9/21. Am I safe for 9/21 or should I cancel it and have it delivered?

Same thing has been happening for me...I tried using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari like another user suggested. Still the same weird never ending sign in loop.
 
remember to wait 90 minutes after setting up mychoice account for it to work.

Thanks but I've had a mychoice account for months now...I've used it several times before to pick up my deliveries at the UPS customer center thru this method. I might just call today and see what can be done about picking it up.
 
Stopped by my local UPS facility (the one the package will be delivered from) like 20 minutes ago, a nice lady confirmed that if you sing up for will call at midnight (12:01am friday) then you can pick it up friday morning from the facility. NOTE if your will call request doesn't get through your package will be delivered as scheduled!!

Great news but I'm not sure if I wanna take that chance as mine says delivers by 10:30am

Just to double check, if you do same day will call, will you be able to pick up in morning or will you have to wait until evening? Some things I've read online makes it sound like you have to wait until evening time to pick up.
 
I was able to retrieve this info.

If you have a mychoice Free account, (takes 90 minutes if you havent signed up yet to sync your tracking items) you can change to will call/pick up by 12:01am tonight and you will be able to pick up your phones at a facility tomorrow morning. Although it may show 9/24, it will change to 9/21. I did it and will have my phone tomorrow at 830am
