You can try calling apple to change the restrictions on your package that’s what UPS tells you when you try to change the settings or you can leave it with a neighbour

No UPS I think it might just be random unless you got an air I think some models are shipping from different warehouses

Has anyone with a 9/24-9/29 delivery range seen their order update to the 19th? I was in almost immediately after it went live on Friday and got that instead of launch date delivery.

Yeah, I have Apple Care+ but still my phone would be full of scratches and dents from falls. Apple Care+ would be only if it really breaks right?

I always wanted to go caseless but having my phone full of scratches and dents would drive me crazy lol

AC+ and a good case/glass alleviates 95% of my anxiety, so even if not used much it's well worth it.

I've had that one for my 16PM, but the kickstand version. I mostly use a case for its kickstand these days, but this is nice to hold. I tried a silicone version from ESR but didn't like how grippy it was when i was trying to fit it into my pocket.

My 17PM case is sitting patiently awaiting its new iPhone.

I have been on the "Preparing to Ship" since last week!

This must mean the products are already in the US; in the past, if it was shipping directly from the factory in China, we would've had tracking by today.

Apple's "tracking" never showed "Shipping" on launch day phones until Thursday, even while we'd been tracking it all the way from Asia through Anchorage and Louisville, even when it arrived into Louisville on Monday or Tuesday.

It will "ship" according to Apple when it leaves the current UPS location for your delivery.

No need to worry, virtually all 9/19 dates will be met. Only extraneous circumstances like hurricanes/tornadoes, or theft, will interfere with that delivery on 9/19.

edit, additional thoughts: If UPS is not noting possession or movement, I'm not sure why that'd be. But as I've said, Apple has historically been very good with the phones being delivered with few exceptions.

Difference between your pocket and a bag is your pocket probably has more dirt and hard lint than your bag depending on what you do

I'm planning on using case for the Pro and it won't cover the entire camera plateau. Case that covers it will also cover the color of the phone (cuz I don't like to use clear case)

Im hoping I get my phone early this year. Looks like my package is coming from PA and has a Next Day Air label. Prior to this year, I think my iPhone has been shipped via 2 day air (i may be wrong) which meant a late afternoon (past 3pm) delivery based on my regular UPS route.

For next Day air packages, I have typically received them before noon. Lets see if that holds up here.

If your date updated to launch day then you WILL get it then. Expect tracking by later today or tomorrow.

Unless you got the 9/25 delivery glitch you got a date range so unfortunately you’ll likely have to wait a bit longer.

I think if you miss Friday delivery or even before Friday delivery you can pay to change the delivery day

Yes with UPS you can pay to change delivery. People in the past paid to have it sent to a UPS store and held for pickup since you can no longer have it held out right for some weird reason

West coast (LA area) here with no UPS tracking in My Choice or through reference number. Seems this year, they're likely coming from somewhere close. My guess is Ontario.

I bought that one too, and it arrives Friday. I have the one (also ESR) with the kickstand around the camera, but after opening it, I don't like that position. It's very clear and feels nice though.
