Apple seems to be having trouble catching up as well. I got shipping notifications for all three of my orders, but one is still showing as “preparing to ship” in the app.

It's always like this - Apple is the slowest to update.

UPS is the most definitive.

So UPS Mychoice failed me. Apple just sent me an email with the tracking number, and it shows that the label was created two days ago. Mychoice is still not showing anything coming to me, but it recognizes the tracking number when I paste it in. I guess at least it's coming tomorrow!

From Flight Aware I see that there's one UPS flight at 4:08PM scheduled from Louisville to Orlando. I guess my iPhone will be on that flight.

All three of my items are now showing as “shipped” on the app. I’ll have a tough day at the office tomorrow. Luckily, my wife is working from home and will receive the packages!

Have tracking info now. Has anyone successfully requested a hold at a UPS customer care center? Looks like I can't do it yet but I've done that for 8am pickup for several launch day phones over the last 10 years or so.

Why would my phone order suddenly disappear from my Apple store app right after I get the shipped notification?

The app now shows our phones in Ontario (CA), and tracking numbers are there for both! On track for delivery tomorrow.

There are no longer any UPS CC. They routed everything to UPS stores.

My hold fell off last night on my phone order. This morning the charge reappeared. Probably was just a hold, and after so many days it falls off, and they just resubmit the payment. You should be good.

it was not so much that the iphone hold expired but that somehow the watch order was committed but the phone was not. i don’t see why there should be any difference between the two. and in fact the watch order was 2 days older.

anyway i’m sure it’s fine given the tracking number, it’s just weird that apple didn’t finalize one but finalized the other.

edit: both the watch and the phone now say shipped in the apple store app! no charge for the phone still.

You will have to wait until the package is at your local UPS hub.

Once that happens, make sure you change your delivery to a UPS Access Point near you. Ensure that it's not in a different territory / county.

I am in Florida and my phone is coming from CARLISLE, PA. Now that I have the shipped status and tracking in UPS, all items are now accounted for that are arriving tomorrow lol

Tap on your account icon and go to my orders, just doesn’t show up in the recent activity spot anymore
