I placed my preorder for the Space Black iPhone Air 1TB on the 15th and it will arrive sometime tomorrow based on current UPS tracking information. Looking forward to taking delivery of this new iPhone.

While some of these “tests” can be fun to watch, I never put much merit into them. Real world drop vs a hammer hitting it is a much different scenario, with different physics involved.

I’m gonna ask my UPS guy when he delivers an Amazon package to me anytime now.

I think Apple stopped requiring signatures for iPhone delivery a few years ago. I do wish Apple still allowed you to have your package held at the UPS for pick up. Last year, UPS missed my scheduled delivery date by a full day, and the year prior to that they delivered my phone to the wrong address without a signature.

My watch just left Louisville a little while ago and is winging its way over here. (ETA and my return kit has shown up in FedEx, but who knows when it will be delivered. FedEx here is not the best.)

I shall have to live vicariously through all of you getting phones tomorrow, since I'm picking mine up on Saturday.

I'm starting to second guess myself again. I dithered between orange and silver and went with orange. But now I'm wondering if I should have gone with blue instead. That blue does look really nice. Maybe they'll have stock on Saturday if I decide I hate the orange. Or maybe I'll just slap a case on it. Or... maybe I'll like it!

I had an orange case the same color. Thought it was cool but got tired of it after a week
