Does anyone know if we’ll have to sign for the delivery from UPS? The tracking info doesn’t seem to indicate you have to sign for it.

Yeah, mine doesn't show that either, but since I’ve been pre-ordering through Apple with the iPhone 4, I've always had to sign for it or confirm the last name on the package. But I think UPS gives the driver they own discretion of where/who they can leave the package with.

Yes, but I don't pick up until Saturday. But don't worry. It will change once the store checks it in. It might be overnight.

I'm not sure that "closing time" really applies on launch day eve. At least for the employees.

Feels weird my in store pick up for tomorrow afternoon is still processing. I just checked, last year the email with the pickup barcode came at 8 PM the night before. Its already 930

According to my UPS man today, Apple now requires a signature for almost all products. The reason for no online signature option this year is due to the bad guys out there figuring out how to sign for Apple products online and then stealing the Apple packages. So my UPS man said to tell you all to be prepared to need an in person signature for your delivery’s tomorrow.

I guess our phones are on the same truck. Mine also left Visalia at 2:09 today.

No scenic route, just I-5 from here on out until it reaches us here in the Bay Area, CA. Boring and straight...

My iPhone is now at Lathrop, CA. Shipping the last leg through Ground Shipping, no direct flight from LAX or BUR to OAK, it looks like.

Just left Philly, heading to western Ohio, guessing next stop will be Columbus, OH.

EDIT: There was a UPS flight that left Philly at 8:50 for Louisville, my phone may be heading there first. I’ll find out around 10:15 when it’s scheduled to arrive in Louisville I guess. 🤷‍♂️

No it never did. I checked with them that everything was correct and there’s nothing missing from my order. So they just randomly pushed out the date by a month. For no reason. I’m so confused lol
