Finally, but they got to show me because it says they haven’t even received the package yet so I can’t wait to see them pull this off

In store pick up tomorrow but not till 6:30 PM. Card charged and I see the trade in box in my UPS. But phone not yet showing ready for pickup. App still says my window tomorrow though.

Ordered 17PM on Apple Card Monthly installments. I was forced to pick a carrier and heard T-Mobile was the one to choose if I was planning to use another carrier. Anyone know if I will have any issues connecting to another carrier.

Also chose in store trade in. Do I have to give them my trade in at the same time I pick up my new 17PM? I would prefer to keep the old phone until I know all is working as expected.

Still no in store ready for pickup email. Window is 8:15 tomorrow morning. East coast.
I have 5 devices for ISPU at 10:00am and only one shows "Ready for Pickup".

edit: oops, didn't mean to send yet.

So I'm saying I don't think it is an issue, the Apple Store folks have many hours to get them all set up for us to pick up! Gonna be a fun day!

When you buy an iPhone from Apple, including on Apple Card Monthly Installments, the phone is unlocked, even though you have to pick a carrier. So, the phone isn’t locked to the T-Mobile network.

ETA: When setting up for mobile, you can just choose the option to set up later. You can then set up the eSIM for your preferred carrier.

If you can't pair your Apple Watch with a new iPhone
https://support.apple.com/en-us/122528

I did not find an article about pairing a new watch once you have the old watch paired with the new iPhone. As I recall I just started up the new watch next to the new iPhone and a notification on the iPhone asked if I wanted use the previous watch backup to set up the new watch.

Good luck and have fun out there!

Looks like my phones are still sitting in Ontario CA, but that’s not too surprising. Most years I don’t see my phone head to Salt Lake until early Friday morning, but it’s still always on time from UPS

I looked up the flight… looks like it arrived in SLC at 4:30 AM. In Cedar Hills
