Welcome to my day...at least I got to play with my new Pro Max but waiting for the AWU 3 and AirPods Pro 3!

I got my phone and watch before noon, but my husband's phone never made it... It scanned onto the delivery truck and the driver said he searched all over in his truck but the phone simply isn't there. I wonder what happens now?
 
I still have nothing. The last UPS scan was on Monday advising the label had been created. The Apple online store shows it shipped and would arrive today. UPS doesn’t seem to know where the phone is. The kind lady at Apple couldn’t really help only to say if it hasn’t arrived in 3 days I could call back and open a case and they’d investigate.

I’ve returned/swapped out things at the Apple Store before and there’s never been a restocking fee. Friend recently returned an iPhone and same.

As far as the size, did you decide to go with the Pro over the PM based on discomfort in the hand? If so, maybe give it a few days. Might be easier to adjust to screen size than deal with the other. I went from PM to Pro for discomfort reasons, and haven’t looked back.

Funny how that all works. UPS instructs their drivers to minimize left turns in countries that drive on the right side of the road. They use a proprietary system called ORION that plots their optimized daily deliveries. They're optimized by priority, distance, historical/daily traffic, etc. But to watch it on a map is maddening.

Then, UPS driver, said "while you're here, I might as well have you sign". He presented just a signature box to me on the handheld. I made him back up a couple screens to show me exactly what I was signing for.
On the good, the iPHone Cosmic Orange tracking # was not listed.
So at least the driver was honest, right?

I did receive the AirPods Pro 3 and Watch Series 11 packages.
But no 🍊 Cosmic Orange 🍊 iPhone 😭
So frustrating - the Official UPS status (see pic) shows "delivery attempted". NOT!
The driver claimed it was NOT on his truck. UPS status showed it was on his truck!

Now delivery status changed to Monday. When I click "change my delivery", it says "enter the infonotice #"
I did not receive an info notice # !!

Has this happened to anyone else? I think I'll just do store pickups from now on. T
his is too much hassle and worry.

Other oddity that was making me worry:
When I searched for my incoming packages, the phone package did NOT have the "AI" in bold above it. But the rest appeared as normal. I've never seen that. Now, it's "not on the truck" according to the driver.

I do believe the driver. I bet it's lost and not shipped.

Can you see the Loaded on Delivery Vehicle scan? If yes, then it should be in that truck. If you don’t see the Loaded on Delivery Vehicle scan, then most likely it was wrong sorted and put in the wrong UPS truck. I think that is my case too as I don’t have that scan. Mine is showing Processing at UPS Facility and then Out for Delivery. The UPS truck is still on the road so it could be delivered later today.

In the early iPad days, I had two ipads coming to my home on launch day (to be delivered by Fedex). I was at home waiting all day, but I put the signature release forms on the door in case I was in the restroom or some such. I watched the Fedex driver get out with my ipads, see the notices on the door from the street, turn back to his truck to get "attempted delivery" stickers. I ran outside to sign for the ipads. He said he wasn't going to leave those on the porch even with a signed release if no one was home. Whew!

One year, I saw the UPS driver drive past my house (on a cul de sac) without stopping, and I immediately got a text that UPS attempted delivery. Thanks UPS! Made me so mad.

yay eSIM took forever to activate that it skipped me ahead to the day one update, dont know if the eSIM even works
 
First time I have missed launch day delivery.
Husbands phone latest tracking says arriving by 7pm, mine is delayed until Monday. You would think they would be on the same UPS truck. If his arrives today I may ask the driver to double check. Weird.

I really enjoyed the in-store pickup and setup today: it was fun being around the crowd and their excitement. Getting an early pickup time is key. I left around 11:30 am, and the pickup line seemed to be moving much more slowly. I had an 8:45 am pickup, and I got there at 8:15 am, and they brought me right in with only about 6 people in front of me.

Agree...I had an 8:15 and got there right before 8am. Brought into the store right away. Had a trade in and transferred my cellular # and got out of the store. Now I wait for UPS to deliver the rest of my stuff. Not as fun!

Picked up my Cosmic Orange 17 pro this morning at the Apple Store. I had an 8:45-9:00 check-in window, showed up around 8:42, waited in line for about 15 minutes, and then got assigned an associate who helped me get my phone. I was out of the store around 9:15. I drove home and restored from a backup of my old phone on my PC via iTunes. Everything went very smoothly, and I was done with everything by lunch time! I hate waiting around for UPS to show up - I much prefer picking it up myself.

The transfer of apps/data from my iP16PM to the new iP17PM was a lot fast than last year. I upgraded from the iP15PM......seems like it took 3 times longer.

Lots of batter use at the moment. I know that will settle down in a few days. But, so far, the 17 is great.
