Still no update on my 8am 512 deep blue PM either. Worst case, I’ll get it when they attempt to redeliver on 9/26.
Maybe the 512GB models are all 9/25 ?

Mine is a 512GB Air and I haven't had an update or moved up....

Still have 5 more days until that delivery day can change....

When I went back to look at configurations after I placed my order, it said 9/19 delivery for at least an hour or two on that model. Really should have cancelled and redid it but didn’t want to run into an issue with AT&T taking forever to restore my upgrade status.

It cannot be all 512GB models, as my 17 Pro Max 512GB Cosmic Orange ordered at 8:07am ET on Friday was originally listed to arrive on 9/25, however I received notification later that afternoon that I would now receive it on 9/19.

Ditto, same config, completed my order at 8:03 AM ET, changed to 9/19 yesterday afternoon.

You know there is going to be that one person in here who is going to complain about the release, and let everyone know multiple times why they are not upgrading….
Not me. No reasons to complain. If I hadn't upgraded last year I likely would have upgraded from my 12 Pro now. And probably Orange. I like to change up the color.

I have totally bought into AppleCare One! My three most expensive devices' AppleCare previously was around $45/month. All additional devices are $5.99 each, which will make my new iPhone's AppleCare, which would have been $13.99 will now be only $5.99. Doesn't make sense with AirPods and Watches as they are all less than $5 already, but my MBP, iPad Pro, and Mac Studio all truly benefit significantly, as will the new iPhone!
For me even just doing my iPhone, Watch Ultra 2 & iPad works out cheaper with AppleCare One than paying separately even if its only by <$5 a month, once my 3 year AppleCare on my Mac runs out I might add it on too depending on whether its cheaper to pay individually or add a 4th device to ACO.

Arranging schedules? You can literally change the date of delivery…like you are doing.

Go re read the many posts. It has nothing to do with “arranging schedules”. We both know that.
Does for me. I'm freelance on call, my clients are judges and attorneys, and have to know in advance which day I will not be available. I tried ISPU but not available UPS won't hold it at a hub, so stuck with delivery. That's a problem because my UPS driver refuses to come to my door to get my signature. Why? No idea why someone decides to be a jerk and why UPS does nothing about him despite many complaints from rural customers. So I have to sit glued to my security camera so I can jump in my car and chase him down the road for every signature required package. Doesn't matter if I change the delivery date. Honestly there are many people here with many different scenarios. For me it's become like a family. Being here every year is part of what I look forward to when it's time for the new phones to come out. So maybe hold off on the judgmental replies and make room for others with different situations.

We did it because we were paying about $26 for AppleCare just for the Vision Pro. Worth it for us.

Definitely not the 512GB models.

I ordered mine from the AT&T app before preorder time opened. No issues so far and expected delivery date of 9/19.

Very well said. I look forward to the increased MR forum participation every year. This is the adult version of circling items we want for Christmas in the Sears catalog; it’s not the main event, but it keeps us entertained while we wait for Christmas Day.

I actually feel like MR forums are not as active this release cycle. A few really active people, but the number of total participants seems to be down, unless I’m imagining things

I've been here since 2016 and this year is lower participation than than all of those years, with the exception of last year. Now, admittedly it could still taper off in the coming days, but last year felt like a dramatic drop off from prior years. Some speculated it was due to some very active participants having relocated to other forums.

Judgmental replies? Couldn’t the same be said about your reply?

We have three iPhones in IUP. Order placed at 5:02, 17 sage, 17 Pro orange and 17 Pro Max blue.
Preorder process was very fast, surprised to see the 9/25 delivery date, but later in the day received emails and texts stating the delivery date revised to 9/19.
