Anyone sticking with screen protectors in this years pro? I know there is the Ceramic Shield 2 coating, but I’m scared.
I’m debating this, also. It really looks like the speaker cutout is longer on the pro (or pro max?), compared to last year’s model. The only place I’ve been able to see this easily, is in the Apple event video. Then again, it may not matter? Idk.

It def looks a lot longer than the one on my 16 pro max.

Thanks for the response, guys. Also, let me know what cases and screen-protectors you guys are getting? drop the link as well if possible.
I’m on the upgrade program so I don’t use a case or screen protector. These phones fit so nicely in hand, I haven’t needed one since the X.

I did used to like apple cases though!

I always go with a screen saver. I am actually debating on Apple care + for the first time and bypass the case and protecter

Was a screen protector advocate for years and years. Didn't use one on my 15 PM or 16 PM and apart from a few micro scratches under direct bright light, nothing. Will not be using one on my 17 PM
I always use them, little micro scratches bother me, even if I can't see them directly. However, the device itself is usually naked, they are hundreds of times more durable than before when you couldn't even breathe on it without causing damage.

My screen protectors arrived today, I have had one on every iPhone starting with my 6S+ after destroying the display on my 5 with deep scratches from dropping it on a moving bus.

Working in dusty/dirty locations where frequently place my phone screen down I don't want to have the display scratched up I'd much rather have to replace an $8 screen protector every few months than put up with a scratched display although my phone is caseless 97% of the time so the case does get some dings and dents from when I drop it or it slides off a surface.
