Got in right at 8 am eastern time and got my 17Pro Max 2tb Orange ordered for inshore pickup on 9/19 and of course my case will be ready for pickup on Wednesday 9/17
 
Updated to 9/19 from 9/25! Base 17 black. Ordered 2 min when drop hit. Let the all day Friday wait commence.

Should have done pick up to not wait around all day.
 
Just checked my order again in the Store app, it changed to the 19th from the 25th! Nice!
It was a glitch. I'm sure all who got orders in early and the Sep. 25 will change to release day. So check your orders.
Now I wait for UPS tracking # to show, most likely by Monday like the past few years.

I was just checking the inventory for the Air out of curiosity and I can sill order every config except for the white and still get it delivered on launch day. They must have either corrected the glitch in the system or reallocated more innovatory for people that got their preorder in early like most of us.
 
Yep, just checked mine and has changed to the 19th. Looks like Apple is fixing its glitch!

Be careful, this happened to me last year, and my Apple Card was declined for an incorrect address. After a chat with support it was fine and they changed it, but it wasn't fun getting that message!
 
Pro Max Orange 1 TB and 512 Pro Silver both now coming launch day. Hope we get some UPS movement by Sunday. My 512 Pro has been preparing for shipping all day, the Pro Max was one of those changed to launch day, still processing there.
