Any how i have called fedex to see whats going on.
they currently have no ? why it is still held up.
They are going to call me back with in the next 2 hours.

What does your fedex status say? Mine says In Transit.

Mine is exactly the same.
In transit but that is in BA which means has not made it to the states yet.

Still expecting a phone call from Fedex i might call them in a bit

Did anyone actually read the package slip?

It stated that the total value was 38.4 (Argentine Peso?), so it's about US$12. I don't get it.

Same here, I noticed that. Maybe that's what it's insured for? Still doesn't make sense. But I think they know it's only worth $12. :) j/k.

I ordered an iVolution Stripes earlier today and they are currently quoting a 20 day turnaround.
Either they truly stepped up operations or they are just claiming shorter build times (and higher prices).

I have had lots of experience with FedEx, both good and bad, and I'm curious how well Vaja and FedEx are honoring their quotes, customs and all.

I also had serious issues with the web colors on the site vs. promo ads and user photos. The reds and yellows, in particular, are quite skewed and don't seem to offer much in terms of accuracy. I even tried adjusting my monitor's settings to approximate realistic colors but the limitations of the sRGB gamut and the website's flash previewer reared their ugly heads, not to mention the tendency of the main product photo to seem brighter than the swatches as a previous poster mentioned. I'm aware that there are inconsistencies in the final color due to the use of natural dyes and natural leather, etc. but witnessing the similar frustration of others with the webcolors and the differences between the buyers' expected colors and the resultant colors made me a bit hesitant to order one at first. One of my prospective colors was going to be Nutria and after hearing that what was supposed to be Nutria really turned out to be more like Army Green, I'm glad I didn't include it. I ended up ordering Black/Friar Brown/Vibrant Orange/Cornsilk.

I'll be following my order closely and will report back with updates as they come.

Yha i was one of the frustrated people who ordered nutris and said it was more like army green even posted pictures here in the fourms.

I was very unhappy and the best vaja could do is give me a 20 dollar credit twords something else since they said it was a custom order and they can not take it back. So if i had to do it again i would stick to real basic colors on that note i ordered the red black special edition and i am really happy with it.

On another note my fist case i got was kinda a soft leather and after a week of normal use i saw some ware on the back side at the bottom where i guess my pants rubbed. On my new red black special edition the leather is way more durable have not noticed any ware at all and been a month now.

So i would pay attention on the leather and would go with the harder one the soft one is way to delicate
 
I also have the Black and Red and am seeing a little wear on the top flap, on the corners by the strap.

Vaja ivolution Top SP

Well after reading this thread and others on the vaja cases I was seriously worried if I was crazy either a) ordering an ultra expensive case when I had a funky foofpod sock and b) whether it would ever arrive in the sunny south of the UK! Ordered on 3 Sept, it did run over the estimated 30 days handcrafting (how they're gonna do this in 20 days I do not know!) and I was finally sent confirmation that it was ready to ship on the 10th Oct with an arrival date of 14th Oct - I was sooooo happy, then I realised it might not appear for days/weeks/months and with additional taxes to pay etc etc. Oh well, it would have been fine as a Christmas prezzie to myself!
I needn't have worried! It arrived at 9.30am on the estimated delivery day and is fab!!! Oh yeah and Fedex didn't hassle for any additional monies!

Anyone remove their phone daily from the ivolution sp to put in a dock or something.

How does the case hold up when doing this?
 
I ordered my iVolution on September 13 and e-mailed them three times in the past week to ask where it was; they still haven't replied.

Is this normal? It surely isn't good business practice to leave me unaware of the status of my order! It's been almost two weeks over the quoted time.
 
I ordered mine on 3rd Oct. Emailed them on 10th Oct and got a reply the same day...

I had emailed them about two weeks past my order and received a reply the same day as well, with the same exact response.

I feel like now that they are past the deadline they don't know what to say. Do they plan on never responding or what?

This should not be the case! It's so frustrating... What can I do? Even though it hasn't, I feel like my money has been stolen.
