Hi everyone!

I just installed Ventura Beta 7 on my M1 Max Mac Studio and my second display has just gone off. It’s connected through thunderbolt USB-C dongle and it’s no longer being recognised.

Any1 else experiencing the same issue?

I had to roll it back to PB4 to get the USB-C to HDMI working again.

After Beta 7 install, when I plug in my external monitor (LG UltraWide 49") both displays go completely garbled, can't do anything, unplug the external display then my main display works again...

Quite amazing that they are having such issues this late in development... Ventura should be ready next month...

Having the same issue over here, HDMI works fine but USB-C isn't working for video only charging, last version 8 at least fixed the autofill issue with safari

I've been missing my second monitor on my mini since 13.0 Beta (22A5342f) - I've been using a usb-c to dvi cable since the M1 Mini came out I've changed cables and switched monitors between computers, still nothing. I was hoping the new beta (22A5352e) would fix things, but alas. Some people suggested it was the new USB restricted mode, but I haven't been able to find the setting on my Mac.

It's been a while since my second monitor was recognized. anyone found a solution yet?

No solution as of now. I just hope it's not one of their new tricks to make us buy displays exclusively from them...

Mine was working accordingly until today that I have installed the (Beta8) version

Just checked the System Hardware report and it looks like the Mac is recognizing that there's a monitor plugged in, but not really detecting the monitor.

Weird stuff.

Yes it is detecting and Charging my MacBook Pro 16, is not passing through video ..!!

Is that a joke, how can they tolerate such a bug for their beta testers? It is very frustrating? How could I leave the beta test program?

Full reinstall
Just updated to beta 9. The issue still persists. Don't know why this is taking apple a long time to fix
This is literally amazing... Wtf is happening... I mean I can understand that this happened, but why in the world does it take them so long to release a fix? They only care about studio displays it seems...

Maybe apple wants you to buy their own brand
