It shouldn’t matter where you order (Verizon or Apple) they will make you pay the upgrade fee when ordering. I will I’ve 34.00 to upgrade so I’ll order the 6.5 and pay the 34.00 and I’m good to go

you know you can get the upgrade fee waved right ?
 
Ok, I’ve always sent my iPhone to my house, can it be pre ordered and picked up in store?
I’m leaving town that Friday and FedEx won’t get to my house before. But I work beside a Verizon store

You can have it picked up at your phone provider store or Apple store

Going from the 7 Plus to XS Max and the Wife's 7 to XS.

When did Verizon allow pre-orders last year? Any idea on times/dates for the XS?

It seems different now this year and the customer service rep was mocking me too on why I can't wait a week to order a phone. Yeah wait a week so you won't get your phone in 6-8 weeks instead of getting it in a week.

Maybe we can do something with the Verizon reps on their social media so we can push them to at least allow us to pay our balances so we don't have that extra something that can possibly go wrong with their systems on preorder day?

If you have one payment left to reach 50% you can pay that bill now so at the time of preorder you don't owe anything. I had 2 payments left. My current bill is due 9/22, but I just paid it today, which leaves me with one payment left. I won't be able to make that last payment until preorder day.

I also am a long time coustomer with verizon and I call each time to CS and ask they give me a bill credit for upgrade fees or they wave it.

You guys sure about this? I thought if you had carrier financing through Verizon, you HAD to preorder the next one through Verizon since you have to pay your phone to the halfway point with Verizon through their site. Didn't think you could preorder with Apple?

If you are using the Verizon upgrade plan, you have to pre-order through Verizon.

Ordering starts Friday!!! Let's get ready. I'm ordering through Verizon website/app. I will have both ready to order at midnight tomorrow night!!

I'm not excited about the new Xs at all. I'm on the upgrade program, so will probably still upgrade, but how much do you think I could get if I sold my iPhone next year when the next iPhone is released?
 
What does it mean now when Verizon says your phone is "upgrade eligible"? This is going to be the first time I get an unsubsidized phone, and from what I can tell, upgrade eligible means getting $100 off or some price break, so it makes sense to order on Verizon rather than Apple directly. Has that been people's experience?
