Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

If you upgrade a device you have on device payment, what goes into the out of pocket costs for today to execute the preorder?

-Remaining payments to get to the halfway point to trade in device (in my case, 1 payment on my iPhone 8)
-Sales tax on entire amount of new phone
-$30 upgrade fee (...)
-First month's device payment for new phone (?)

Is that right? I have a pending plan change on my account at the moment and can't get to the point in the preorder to see this total unless I cancel the plan change. Just curious for now what all components I'd be looking at to execute the preorder.

Just wondering if I should be concerned. I ordered the Xs Max 256 SG at about 3am PT / 6am ET on 9/14, through the Verizon app. My order is still showing as PENDING, with the comment of "Estimated to ship around Sep 21, 2018". Should I be concerned that it still says Pending at this point, and says estimated to ship around Sep 21, or could it still arrive on 9/21?

3am pst or 3am et? If you did order at 6am et you won’t get it until after sept 21 most likely.
 
My fiancé’s phone (XS 64GB Silver) has been shipped, however my phone (XS Max 256 Silver) has not been yet. Still processing. Not too worried as we both ordered our phones as part of the same order. I’m sure they just haven’t gotten to mine yet.
 
Can you use UPS My choice to pre-sign for a Verizon phone delivery? There seems to be some ambiguity on the UPS website. It says you can pre-sign for ‘some’ packages but not if the shipper marks ‘adult signature required.’ I’m not sure what the Verizon iPhone deliveries would count as.

I’m in the same boat. Mom’s phone, 256 Max Gold, shipped and has been picked up this morning and being held in West Chester PA. My phone, 512 Max SG, and two watches in a separate order (44 SS Gold and SB) are still pending atm.... Perhaps movement sometime today or tomorrow... Glad I work in a veterinary hospital and the days run together a bit with our workload. Will keep me distracted

Over the years, it's always been FedEx that has delivered my phones. I've always left a note on the door with the tracking number and my signature and they will leave it at the designated area at your door/porch. I've never had any problems with this.

Mines shipped, idk location code, currently in PA which will be dispatched on Thursday. Have tracking number as well, being delivered by FedEx. Order placed at 2:57am EST.

So everything is coming on Friday (*knocks on wood*) and earlier today I stopped by a Verizon store and picked up two Speck cases, each a matching color to the phones. I will likely customize a case with Skinit later since I do that for every phone

Verizon has the stainless steel watches? I didn't see them on their app?

You’re right. I could swear it’s been UPS in the past but I see I’m FEDEX this year.
I also heard there is a way to pre-sign for FedEx packages online. I don’t see that option yet, even though I can see my package not their site. Maybe in another day or so.

You have to use the website. Even now the app doesn’t show the stainless steel versions.

Still waiting for my 512 SG Max and two SS (Gold and SB) 44mm to process and ship. Mom’s 256 Gold Max shipped this morning and it was in the same order with my phone
