Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

For everybody worried... Here is what has happened in the past based on my experience and others on this forum. More often than not, ship by dates and received on dates have been the same in the end. If you have a release day date, the phone has been received on release date usually. If you have a date listed more than a few weeks out, those might get bumped up as people cancel their preorders if they find the device in store.

Last year, I had a 12/3 receive date for a preorder that was received about 11/23.

Is that right? I have a pending plan change on my account at the moment and can't get to the point in the preorder to see this total unless I cancel the plan change. Just curious for now what all components I'd be looking at to execute the preorder.

The only thing they charge is remaining payments to reach 50%, $30 upgrade fee and sales tax on payment and upgrade fee. My state (Illinois) doesn't charge taxes on device if ordered online. All of which will be charged when phone gets shipped.
 
Iphone Xs 256gb Ordered 9/14, delivery date 9/21. That has changed to 10/12. Good luck to all of you. My order still says Pending with new delivery date.

I might just cancel and wait to see if there is store avail on Friday.

Over the years, it's always been FedEx that has delivered my phones. I've always left a note on the door with the tracking number and my signature and they will leave it at the designated area at your door/porch. I've never had any problems with this.

Same with me. Just sign and put tracking number and you'll be good.
 
Shipped via PA like the others! Stocked it’s coming minus I’m out of town in HI until 9/24 so home run present it shall be lol I hope everyone’s orders ship today! 512GB SG Max

Yes you will get your phone - it goes by location code and what is ordered - I preorder every year for myself except this year I ordered for my son - I have seen as late as Thursday morning for Friday launch day


I received the email confirmation at 3:03 for a gold Xs Max 256gb - no charge yet

THIS!!!! Just when you think there will not be any movement at all.... then bam! The phone starts to move on Thursday and it's magically at your door on Friday! :)

My verizon order shows item will be shipped on 10/3. Is there a chance it would ship faster? ordered at 1am PST on 09/14
 
Ordered a 256 Xs Max Silver and a 256 Xs Gold for my wife on Friday at around 9:00am EST. Order is processing and still have a delivery date of 9/21. Not charged, and no shipping info yet... But I did get the $60 fee waived; thank you!!
 
Xs, Gold, 256GB (Ordered 10 AM ET on 9/14, order location: 0620101)

Card charged, FedEx tracking number received, current location: Memphis TN
