Just checked my Verizon order. No CC charge yet. Order says processing, check back later for updates. Says, "deliver by 9/21"
 
Yes you will get your phone - it goes by location code and what is ordered - I preorder every year for myself except this year I ordered for my son - I have seen as late as Thursday morning for Friday launch day

Im not concerned about the phone, Im more so concerned about when Im charged. Im probably in the minority here, but I need my card to be charged as late as possible. Current available credit line is 208, my total with verizon is 210, and the payment on my card hasn't gone through yet. I would be absolutely beside myself if my card gets declined over $2.

I got on the app right at 3am and was able to order XS Max 256 GB - Gold immediately with a 9/21 delivery. The app crashed for a few minutes and I was then able to place my 44mm Aluminum Gold watch order at 3:18am with a 9/21 delivery also!

So I saw the email this morning that my card was declined for both orders and I would have to go to the Verizon store and pay with cash??? I had PLENTY of space on my credit card and I never received any kind of alert from my cc company that they thought the purchases were fraud? Needless to say, I just spent probably an hour and a half being bounced from person to person at Verizon trying to update my card info...They had no problem updating the info for my watch, but of course they couldn't fix the one for the phone. I finally spoke to a lady that was super helpful. She unfortunately had to cancel the phone order, but she promised me that she would request that I be bumped back to the beginning of the line because this wasn't my fault. I hope it really does work out because I'm frustrated at this point. What was the point of me ordering at 3:02am for me to not get the phone until October 3rd??? Ugh!!

The bump in line does work - last year for the X it was every other post. Everyone got their phone on launch day too

My 256 space gray Xs Max shipped last night from West Chester, PA. Obviously has a hold on delivery until Friday
It will likely go from West Chester to Newark then Harrisburg and maybe back to Coatsville then your destination. They'll pass it around until Friday!
Weird but I have a package coming in the mail from VZ today and the only thing I ordered was the phone - maybe it's a SIM card but that usually comes in the phone so I can't imagine what it is.

Order shows Shipped with a tracking number, but no further info from FedEx. That just means a shipping label was generated, but wasn’t scanned into the system just yet. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow morning there will be an update of where my Max is sitting.

I agree I've seen so many people have their cards declined this time. I've been doing preorders through Verizon since 2014 and honestly I've used the same card every single time. This is the first year I've encountered any problems.

For all of you that the phone has shipped and you have a tracking number, did it say shipped on the verizon order status page or did you get an email from the fedex delivery manager system?
 
Gold 512 X Max and got my confirmation emails at 11:59. Payment hit yesterday and I downloaded the UPS app.

Got a tracking number and it departed
