I would not call. There is a very good chance they will mess up your order if you call.
If this is true, I will cancel my order. I'd rather go wait in line at Apple for 12 hours then be jerked around by Verizon
Just got off the phone with them. They said that if I don’t see anything by tomorrow in regards to getting charged or shipped, he said I should be getting it by October 3rd. I am absolutely livid
I just got off the phone with a verizon rep and she said that no phones will ship until the 21st. She said that’s what happens when you don’t get them from a store. WTF?!
That is false. The phones do ship before the 21st
This just goes to show how clueless the VZW reps are/can be.
Mine XS Max silver was ordered 9/14 around 11 am in a VZW store. It showed 9/21 but the other one 64gb XS Max gold is delayed so the entire order shows 10/10 - didn't think there would be this much of a backlog.My silver 64gb XS shipped yesterday and i just ordered it on Saturday
I ordered a 512 GB SG XS Max with Apple Watch on the BOGO New Line, and a 256 Gold Xs on an existing line. The Gold XS has shipped as of this morning, 512 still saying shipping around 21st with the Apple Watch. I ordered at 11:58pm PT (2:58am ET) on the 13th/14th (Depending on your time zone). I have never had issues w/ Verizon in past launches, but I may be rethinking of just ordering w/ Apple going forward.
Hmmm. I just spoke with someone and they said that whatever is in the email is the date you will get it. She said that they did have to push back phones, but that it will appear on the email

I would assume that the first sign before anything else is the charge, then it’ll appear on fedex, and then in the Verizon app/site
Because I'm going on vacation next week. The reason I ordered it was it said deliver by Friday 9/21. If they would deliver it on the weekend that would be awesome also but mine always comes by Fedex and they never deliver on weekends. Not for iPhone anyway. That's why it's important. If I knew beforehand that they couldn't deliver by Friday, I would have not ordered and would have tried to get it in person at the Verizon store on release day. Of course they probably wouldn't have exactly what I wanted that day and I would have to take off of work to go and get one.
I think it's funny people on here trying to say chill out, it will get here when it gets here and most of the time they have one coming for them on release day. I enjoy this part of ordering. The excitement and anticipation so why is that your concern. A lot of us are in the same boat and we are all excited about it.

Mine shows the same thing.
These Verizon reps are something else. They will try to give you any answer to hurry up and get you off the phone or to place an order anyway. Very, very few are actually any good. I wish I could get the direct number to the ones that I do come across, they are so rare.
