It might have to be an adult but when the six plus came out I let my 14 year old at the time take the day off school to sign for it and had no issue... Side note he is not a delinquent and an honor roll kid so not great parenting but not terrible

Finally just got the Apple Pay "declined" email notification and changed my pay. Now that everything is blanked out with no dates, hoping I still get my phone Fri like the others are showing who had to do the same :/

256 GB Space Grey XS MAX purchased 09/14 05:17 AM PST: Order just changed from pending to processing. Ship by (App)/ deliver by (website on safari) date of 09/21 has disappeared. Purchased with PayPal, charge posted at the moment of checkout. Delivering to Phoenix hope to see a tracking number with delivery estimate of 09/21 when I wake up tomorrow
For me, one Max sitting in Jersey, the other Max in Memphis. Both ordered at the same time.
I was lurking earlier and thought “wow, I’ve never seen so many people upset that they haven’t had money taken from them yet. Only the power of Apple, lol.”

Well I was on the fence on whether I wanted to upgrade this year or not. I was one of the many who upgraded to the iPhone X the instant pre-orders went live last year.
Decided to upgrade to the iPhone Xs Max 256 GB space gray last night so I can enjoy that big screen (I miss having a plus sized phone). Got a deliver date of 10/03 so I’m happy with that. Based on the past few years I’ve participated in the preorders, there is always a chance the date might get moved up.
I hope everyone enjoys their new toys when they arrive!

So my watch is still processing too, but I actually already have UPS tracking numbers.
I set up UPS My Choice and verified my address, and now I can see any shipments arriving. I looked in there yesterday and found my watch shipments were already in and actually had left Shanghai last night.
Check it out - makes it much easier. FedEx has a similar product as well.
Wow...message from verizon that my order for Xs Max was cancelled due to "system issues". Spent over an hour arguing, should have ordered with Apple itself. Manager said he would ask for the re-order to jump in front of the line,lol, order showing delivery date October 10th!
3 options i am thinking.
1. Cancel the verizon re-order with a delivery date of Oct. 10?
2. Go to the apple store on friday morning around 7am local time and hope?
3. Check randomly Apple store online for local pick up order sometime next week?
Thoughts?

Wow, I would be pissed to say the least. If it was their system issue, they should do whatever it takes to make it right. I think I would be tempted to cancel and go to Apple, as you mentioned.

My delivery date has disappeared as well from the Verizon web status page. I suspect that is a good sign, that something is happening.

Ordered 64 gb spacec grey xs max the day after preorders went live... it's said processing this whole time, now I've just gotten charged for CA tax... Estimated delivery date Oct 1-Oct 10. I'm hoping it comes earlier though. lol
edit: My order's changed now to "Preparing to Ship" with an estimated delivery date of Oct 1 - Oct 8 but based on what I've read I imagine I'll get it sooner than that.
