Nope Fedex says they are required to make a delivery attempt before you have the option to pick up. That’s why I don’t pre-order from Verizon anymore, as they pretty much use Fedex exclusively. I ordered mine direct from Apple and I’ve got it scheduled to pick up from a UPS hub first thing tomorrow morning.

I got on the chat with the Verizon app and talked to someone--it looks like they put in a request for my new order to jump the line and still arrive tomorrow. I will believe it when I see it, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
This is how I’m feeling about my final watch after Tuesday night’s fiasco with a rep. Gold watch charged last night but my more highly anticipated Black SS 44 is the one I’m anxious to see movement on... Hopefully at some point during the day today or even this evening
I've never been able to officially pre-sign for my iPhone delivery. The type of delivery doesn't allow you to do it. I still leave a note with a signature on the door and they usually (not always) leave it. But they bring it the next day or I pick it up at FedEx
I did last year. Google fedex shipment release authorization form. Fill it out and tape it to your door. They’ll leave the package where you specify on the form.

First I have to get the tracking number. My order still says processing on the Verizon app. It was supposed to be a 9/21 delivery, but now I’m not confident.

I was charged after re-submitting my pay (used Apply Pay initially). Have not received any other notification and the date is blank same as others. My current device status does show that I completed the upgrade payment. It shows $0 now.
Currently sitting in west Chester PA I expect it to go to the Elizabeth hub then fly out overnight to Indy

Hum, interesting, just looked and mine is the same. The total shows the amount of the new Xs Max SG 512GB that I ordered.
Finally received tracking info 11:27pm pacific time. Ordered 12:23am Friday. XS Max silver 64. Delivery is 9/21. Phone was billed to account. ::Rubs hands together::

Same here. Changed last night. Order changed from pending to processing and delivery day disappeared also.
Mine shipped on Wednesday the 19th, sitting in NJ right now. It states overnight delivery by 8 pm. It does state signature required, but indirect signature under it. Hopefully they will accept my teenage daughter signature if it comes while I’m gone. I have a 10-10:30 appointment at the Apple store to pick up my watch.
My phone cases are in Horsham, PA but no tracking info for my actual phone yet

Two years ago they gave me $650 for my iPhone 6 (that was 2 years old at the time) when I upgraded to a 7+ ($869 128gb) making the phone cost $219+tax.
Hopefully history will repeat itself. I can afford whatever phone I want but these prices are getting out of control. I want to upgrade my 2010 MBP this year too, crazy that it wont cost much more than my future iPhone XS 256gb. Come on Verizon, give us a good X-maS (pun in intended) special!

The special is already active. It’s the buy 1 get 1 for $700 off (just need to have one new line). We will never get as lucky as we did 2 years ago with the $650 trade in deal thing. They admitted they all lost tons of money that year. It wont happen again.
