Well my stuff is still all on processing. Nothing has budged in days. Probably safe to assume Friday is a no go at this point for both phones I ordered. Kind of a bummer. This is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a launch day with a Verizon order and had nothing ship by now. Not super optimistic at this point.
Does anyone know if we can authorize delivery via fedex delivery manager? Mine has shipped but I don’t see the option....I am on vacation so can’t leave anything (but will have a neighbor put it inside the house as soon as it’s delivered)
Call fedex. They won’t leave a highly sought after item without signature. I suspect that they have to attempt delivery but maybe they can hold and deliver when you are home
Mines in Elizabeth NJ been sitting there for days FYI it just updated that shipping info was sent to FedEx and it’s marked for overnight delivery.

No, just one, and you can pick it up at their facility after 5 pm on friday as long as you bring the door notice saying they could not deliver, or pick it up Saturday.

My shipment is now saying residential delivery but it’s not.... will that affect anything?
It might have to be an adult but when the six plus came out I let my 14 year old at the time take the day off school to sign for it and had no issue... Side note he is not a delinquent and an honor roll kid so not great parenting but not terrible
I'd hardly say it's bad parenting to let your kid have a day off.
You are right, though. iPhone deliveries just require a signature, not an adult signature. I recently had a package delivered that specifically had an adult signature required (i.e. over 21 with ID) and it was shown in the package shipment facts for the tracking (below). In my years of pre-ordering, they've never specified that it needs to be an adult signature or even a direct signature.
Mine is still processing. They charged me last night but the date said 9/21. As soon as they charged me the date disappeared. Nothing for me to worry about. I should still get it Friday. All I'm saying is this has happened to someone else on here. They posted it. They're supposed to jump the line also. I would wait. Don't cancel your order. They might pull through for you.

No. Mine is always deliver by FedEx and they have to make the first attempt at delivery. After that, you can pick up from there usually after 5.
I suspect my phone should be shipped overnight sometime today. At least that is what I am hoping. I got the text and email yesterday and the money came out of my bank account.

Edit: Meaning the time in which the driver actually delivers your item vs the 8pm estimate. In my case, because my “zone” is close to the district center here, I usually get my packages around 12:00-3:00 pm.

My original confirmation says Fed Ex will deliver by 3pm, now it's 8pm. Last year it was the same situation, and it didn't arrive until 6pm.
For those of you who might be panicking about your shipments, a few weeks ago I ordered an X for my daughter at 7:45pm and it was there the next day by 1pm. Granted the new Iphone might be different because of the stock but it's amazing how fast they can get these orders out and delivered.

I’m in the same boat. Been showing as processing for a few days. No shipping notice as of yet. My shipping dates on both the app and the webpage have disappeared completely, so I am somewhat optimistic that is a good sign that something is happening behind the scenes. Originally the app showed “shipping around 9/21”, while the webpage showed to be delivered on 9/21. I would certainly be bummed if the phone does not arrive tomorrow, but big picture not a major deal. Fingers crossed!
I just got an email from Verizon—my order was cancelled. Then I got more emails saying I had a new order and both phones I ordered have been pushed out to October. I am so angry.I’m in the same boat. My experience with this is that if it’s a “residential” delivery it will not go to a business. Residential trucks do just that, deliver to residences. I know this because I had something shipped to my work that was on a residential truck. At the end of the delivery day the tracking said undeliverable , no such address. After calling and raising hell I was told that residential trucks won’t go to businesses. They won’t even look for the addresss. It’s really stupid but that’s the way they are.

My shipment date disappeared on My Orders, I logged out and checked order status and it says my ordered shipped.
Had the same thing happen to me. Order said delivery by Oct 3rd. Last night the date disappeared and status is preocessing. Maybe the jump the line worked? Fingers crossed.
