Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Same status as everyone else with ESD 10/14.

I think our phones might start showing up on our doorsteps Wednesday or Thursday. May be wishful thinking.
 
I got this message when I ordered:

Thank you for your order. It is being processed and will be shipped to arrive on 10/14/11.

You will receive notification once it has shipped.

This is the message on the order status site:

Here is the status of your Pre-order:
We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: 10/14/2011

Hopefully the first one is right and it will arrive on the 14th.
 
I can't even get the order status screen to accept my info

I've tried a million times with both the order# and preorder confirmation #. Site won't accept either. I think I'll call today. Getting nervous that my order didn't get processed correctly.

I was told by a rep that they don't charge credit cards until it ships. I haven't been charged yet either. Hopefully today tho!

I'm having the same problem; it won't show me any sort of updated status beyond the original email. I'm actually about to head out to the Verizon Corporate Store near me, so I can report back here with what I find out. Maybe both our issues might be able to be cleared up.
 
I had the same trouble as others trying to use the Order number instead of the confirmation number. It says the ship date is 10/14 like everyone else.

I ordered Verizon from Apple's site, it says Delivery on Oct 14th but order is still processing - Does this mean mine may be getting pushed back as everyone else is either preparing for shipment or shipped?
 
I have the same thing as everyone else, expected ship date is this Friday. It better ship before that though and get here Friday or I am not going to be a very happy customer!
 
Expected Ship Date - Changed from 10/14 to 10/21 and Back to 10/14

I had a little anxiety, but things look back on track for a 10/14 delivery!

I ordered from Verizon @ 6:30am Friday and received a confirming email. When I click the Check Status link and enter the order number I get the message that there is no order with said number. Aaugh!

I used the "contact us" form last night. If I don't hear back by noon what's my next step? Call an online store number or go through the local brick and mortar?
 
So do you guys think our orders (from VZW directly) are going to be coming from China or somewhere in the U.S. I remember back in February when the iP4 came out for VZW they were shipped from various warehouses in the U.S. However, that was different because that model of iPhone was already released. From what I've seen so far with this iPhone is they are coming from Shenzhen like most new apple products do. The reason I mention this is because if they come from China I would think they would have to be shipped today or tomorrow. Although if they come from inside the U.S. Verizon could ship them thursday using FedEx overnight like they usually do and get us them on Friday.

As mentioned above you have to use the preorder confirmation number.

Try using the Preorder confirmation number instead of your order number

Same here. Ordered 3:30 a.m. EST the 7th.
Email confirmation says:

Your Order Confirmation

Hi *******,
Thank you for your order. It is being processed and will be shipped to arrive on 10/14/11.

You will receive notification once it has shipped.

Don't know why the order status says scheduled ship date 14th. :mad:

Ordered from Verizon online- my order finalized at 12:11am PST
 
I feel as though verizon will be very rigid this time around with its preorder deliveries. What i mean by that is, no 3-4 day early deliveries like the iphone 4 launch.

hope i'm wrong ofcourse.

Yeah that was so nice getting it the Monday before a Friday launch later in the week. :)

I have a strange feeling that they're going to ship Wednesday via either UPS or Fed-Ex with a two day express service from somewhere in the US and we'll get them Friday. I also feel like we will have tracking info around Tuesday night because they will prepare the shipments all day monday and tuesday so that they can be on the truck by Wednesday morning.

I'd really like to see where ATT and Sprint is shipping to their customers from. This will definitely be indicative of where Verizon will be shipping theirs from.

this status has shown since saturday 10/08/2011. i called that day and 2 reps verified the order was 100% ready and completed, they said not to worry! Now its 2 days after that and no chance in the status! Anyone else with this problem?:confused:

I wouldn't worry about it, the only place that I have found that u can actually check the status of a pre order is the link in the conf. Email vzw sent u, I'm beginning to think it will be tomorrow before we see changes bc the banks are closed today, I am still fully confident that we will get ours early, I've pre ordered many phones from Verizon with the longest part being "processing" and usually as soon as that changes we will see it within a couple of days.

Keep checking. I ordered my phone Thursday night @ midnight and the Ship Date said "10/14" for a couple days, then "10/21" for a day, then went back to "10/14"...

Same thing happened here. I was just about to call Verizon when it changed back to 10/14. I preordered the white 16gb at 12:01am, as soon as the preorders opened.
