Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

same boat as you guys. My phone is in Ontario...though I'm down in SD, it still says next day air...but 10/14 for "shipped by" date.

But I really expect it tomorrow 😛

So i ordered my 16gb white 4S on the 8th from the Apple store online...my shipping estimate is 1-2 weeks. Anyone know how valid that extimate really is? I know ive read that some people who ordered on the 8th already have tracking numbers!!?

Ordered 2 16GB iPhones (one white and one black) Friday around 6:30PM EST.

Says my order is still processing and will ship 10/14.

Should I be concerned that they won't arrive on Friday?

I live in Georgia if that means anything. (2 hours from Atlanta)

I'm wondering the same thing. I ordered online, ported two numbers, got a confirmation email saying will deliver by 14th, but nothing else. Order status page is worthless. Credit card not charged.

Has anyone who ported a number gotten a shipment notification?

Yes, I ported my number from AT&T.

I pre-ordered Saturday 10/8 at 10:30am, bank account was charged yesterday, and I received my tracking number this afternoon. This is unlike many others who pre-ordered early AM on 10/7. However, I'm guessing they will most likely still get their phones on Friday.

this makes me sad since I have gotten nowhere so far and i'm a late-morning 10/7 preorderer. no credit card yet, no tracking, no nothing.

i'm still hopeful though

I have had this status all day. I assume it is on a truck driving up I-5. It is a 20+ hour drive to Seattle, slower for a truck. Drive safely please! 🙂

Cant wait until Friday. First iPhone. My wife has a 4. I fell like a kid waiting for Christmas.

My Credit Card has the money taken out of the balance and it still hasn't shipped.

I'm mildly confused with my order. I have the latest tracking information showing that it has left Hong Kong using UPS Worldwide Express. On their site, it details delivery by 10:30 or 12 noon. But the status says by end of day. I'm going to ZomProm 2011 (yes, a zombie themed dance) and have to leave Tacoma, WA by six (via bus) though. I hope it gets to me earlier. Screenshots attached.

P.S. They had a processing charge on my bank account for Applecare+ but it disappeared. The iPhone (64GB White) has not been charged to my account at all yet. Ideas?

EDIT: As a followup, I pre-ordered mine around 2AM PST on the 7th as soon as Apple's servers came back up. Would that give me priority?

Noone really knows exactly what time their shipment will arrive. This whole tracking deal isnt very accurate, so I'm planning on staying home all day Friday. That's what I would suggest.

No, they are just saying that if it's being delivered to a business/commercial address that it'll be there by 10:30 - 12. Home delivery will be by end of day, which can be as late as 7-8 depending on the route and number of packages they've got.

No. Why would that give you priority? It'll be in the same line that everyone else was in who pre-ordered from Apple. If some got in before you, then they would be processed first after you is processed later.
