Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

WTF! Delayed?!

So my money was deducted off my credit card and it said guaranteed delivery by 10/14/2011

I check an hour later and now it says expected ship date 11/18/1858

They're over 150 years late on my delivery! :mad:;)

So wo else has ups tracking info stuck at A shipping label has been created? Mine has been like this all day! Ugh

Right here with you! I'm hoping I get some type of update before I go crawl in bed in an hour and a half. Something, ANYTHING! Not knowing what is going on is driving me nuts!

It is driving me nuts as well. Currently it is 2:27 my time. I should be asleep but I keep waiting. And waiting and waiting. Where are you located?
 
Tracking on UPS...

I haven't read all of the pages in this thread...sorry if this is a repeat. No email from Verizon yet with tracking info, but CC has been charged. From another forum I found info about how to find my package via UPS.

  1. Track by Reference
  2. Select Mail Innovations, not Package
  3. For Shipment Reference, enter your billing phone number with no hyphens or spaces
  4. You probably don't need to adjust the Shipment Date Range
  5. Don't enter anything in the space for Shipper Account
  6. Select United States as Destination Country
  7. For Destination Postal/Zip Code, enter your 9-digit zip code (for example, 12345-6789) for your delivery address, not your billing zip code
  8. Click on the TRACK button

It doesn't give an actual tracking number, but at least it shows my package is out there. For right now, that's enough info to keep me sane. LOL Hopefully the info will be updated tomorrow morning...
 
Ontario! Anyone know where I can find ups hubs? Mine says delivery "by" 14th by 4:30, but I must leave @3 for an appointment. UPS always delivers late to my house. Always around 4-5. Maybe if I bribe the hub with donuts, I can get the phone before I have to leave. :D

Ohio, same time zone. Yay for working in the afternoon and being able to pull off the long nights lol
 
I live right down the road from a UPS Processing facility and that's probably why it's adding to my excitement. If the thing were to show checked in there, I would probably go try to see what's up and get my phone.
 
So mine is at the destination sort facility as of 9:45pm PST
I'm in Los Angeles. What are the chances of it being delivered to me tomorrow?? :D

EDIT: Does anybody know where the sort facility is in LA? If they don't deliver it tomorrow, I want to try and pick it up.

Yeah, mine has been stuck on the shipping label since 10AM this morning. I'm thinking in the morning when UPS trucks start running, they'll pick up the packages and it will be updated.
 
Hey! I see some people are from the seattle area. Im in Federal way!
I ordered mine on the 8th though, so im very much in the dark as to when i can expect any news on my 16gb white 4s...

Ugh...now I need a DeLorean to get my phone.
 
I ordered around 8 am EST on the 7th
Status chaned from expected to ship on 10/14 to expected to deliver on 10/14 at about 8 pm 10/11
Status changed to processing request at approx. 3 pm 10/12
Received tracking number at 1 am this morning.
Tracking number still not coming up in UPS system at 3:19 am EST 10/13

Mine shipped from Ontario via fedex, and today was such a long day I literally thought it was Thursday and my phone was coming tomorrow. That was quite the let down...!
 
Not really sure what to do. I cancelled my order on Tuesday, but got a shipment notification on Wednesday. Thing is, it looks like I can add a line to my family plan again, where as I couldnt before I cancelled the order on Tuesday. Right now I am thinking of still waiting in line and buying the phone since I really dont know if I will be getting my preorder or not! :confused: And, if it does come, I could just sell it. I don't know, guess we will see come Friday!
 
My phone is also in Ontario. It seems that the phones were picked up tonight in Ontario, but will not be shipped from there until tomorrow. Hence why the shipping type is overnight but we won't receive them until Friday.

I got my shipping confirmation email and my credit card has been charged, but no tracking info yet. Only a label has created. Anyone else in the same boat as of this time? It supposedly shipped on the 12th and is coming via 2nd day air, so I wonder if I'll be getting in on Friday indeed or not.

Same with me in Massachusetts. Except showed up on card on Tuesday. Is all of the 'confusion' planned so we do not storm UPS, Fedex facilities as well as chase the poor guys/gals down the street. I sort of think we are going to find deliveries start tomorrow..oops today - Thursday. I am an optimistic and this is my first iPhone!

Awoke this morning expecting to see my UPS tracking information updated but no such luck. Still just showing that a label has been created.
 
Same story here. Just a label...No actual shipping information. I kind of think the packages are moving and they are not displaying the information. Probably some agreement to keep us in the dark for some reason. Here is to hoping sometime today I find out it is out on truck for delivery. haha :D

Well my phone is now officially 15 miles from my house! Would be FABULOUS if I saw movement later on in the day to actually get delivered today!
