Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

The only reason we have locations on the map is because the "My Package" program is translating the origin information from the tracking number. My rational mind is telling me everything is fine, but I'm also thinking that these things are still sitting at the entry location and when they finally start moving they'll move at 2nd Day Air pace, which would put them here Saturday at the earliest. And my work location isn't open on Saturday, so that will put delivery on Monday! Looks like I might be heading to a store in the morning...

Called the internet sales people and the guy assures me that everything is on track, but he did say that it has not been packaged or prepared for shipment yet. I would think for it to get here by tomorrow, it would need to be leaving now (depending on where it is I suppose). I think I am just going to prepare myself for it NOT coming tomorrow. If it does, great. If not, well then I am already prepared for the dissapointment of waiting a few more days.
Finally got Verizon shipping email
Got the email today at 7:30 AM, ordered 3:30 AM on Friday.
The email included a working link to FedEx tracking (12 digit number) scheduled for overnight with delivery by 3 PM Friday. Yea!
It's a white 32G, and yes, coming from West Chester, PA. Listed at 1 lb.
The reference number tracking did not work, here is why, the listed ref number is different from the others in that it has 01 at end for 11 digits total. So that would be D77xxxx_000015xxx01 (that's what is listed on the tracking status, I didn't actually try to search on that as I have a direct link).

It looks like UPS tracking might be catching up. I finally have it updated. It says In Transit: On Time. 1 Business Day Left. Looks like i will be getting my iP4S tomorrow after all. Nice!!

Are you guys who are getting updates all originating from Louisville? Mine appears to be originating in Memphis and it seems like a lot of Memphis people are still just seeing the "Shipping Label Created" message...
I got a email from Verizon saying my order was on hold. I called to see what was going on. They put the charge through and it shows up on my CC statement. The rep said I was still on track to have it by 10/14 and I should have a tracking # by 5pm today. When I track it, it still shows the 28th. Is it me or the verizon system has many glitches?
I have still not gotten an e-mail with tracking#'s. I have been checking ups + fedex sites using location_0000order# to no avail. I have no holds showing. Called this morning and was told by internet sales lady that the only thing holding now is a tracking# - (which I knew, that's why I called). She shared they had charged my credit card already. Scheduled to ship 10/14. *shrug*

Does anyone have the 12-digit UPS InfoNotice number for Verizon so I can change the delivery address?
My phone is getting delivered tomorrow but I won't be home and therefore would like to ensure I get this. I was going to leave a note saying to take this as my signature as I signed it or have him go to my neighbors.

I am in Tennessee and mine finally went from label created to Origin Scan in Louisville. On Time 1 Business day left!
Is it bad if I don't have a tracking number yet, but I'm scheduled for 10/14 still via the original email?
No CC charge, no email, still says in process 10/14/11... Meh...
It'll come Im sure. At least it doesn't give me the 1800's delivery date or a 10/21/11...

I ordered at 10AM Easteren on 1st day and my money has been on hold since yesterday but all verizon status shows is "your pre-order will arrive 10/14" and no tracking info.
I tried the UPS and FedEx track by reference tricks but both say nothing found.
I'm worried it won't show tomorrow but will keep my fingers crossed.
I'd be fine if I could get some proof that it's in route even if Verizon's site didn't show anything useful and my card hadn't cleared the hold.

No. Only Verizon can change the address and its very difficult to get them to do it for you. If the package is like most and starting to leave KY this morning there is nothing you can do at this point. It will arrive at the address on file with Verizon.
