They might, it all depends on what you included in your note. I called FedEx customer service last night and asked them what to do since I wouldn't be there to sign. They said you have to call them (like I did) and provide them detailed instructions on where to put the package. Then they said to write a note with the same instructions, also including the account holder's name, shipping address, tracking number, and signature. I taped this note to my door and had no problems, my package is waiting for me when I get home.
EDIT: FedEx also said they are not holding packages for pick-up, so if you miss your delivery you have to wait for the next attempt. Not sure if this is all FedEx facilities, or just my local one. This is what I was told when I called the national customer service line, though.

Thanks for the info! Kinda confused about the whole 'unlocking' thing though... i thought GSM was a network through AT&T? or is GSM the network used when travelling out of the country? also, what requirements do you need to be able to unlock your phone?
