I'm confused. I was told that I could change the address but I had to wait until I get an email giving my estimate ship date. Why did the rep tell me this if its impossible?

That's not possible unfortunately. I just tried a couple of hours ago. A couple of hours ago I noticed that my billing address as well as the address on my pre-order notification were wrong. I tried to call and see if they could change the address to my correct address and was informed that i would have to cancel my order and order again. I had them cancel my order and pre-ordered the same iPhone 6S Plus 128GB Space Gray VZ unactivated device for in guaranteed store pickup at my BestBuy on launch day. I would check what BestBuy can offer you

I don't understand why someone in customer service would give me false information. This was at 3:10 and I had plenty of time to re order with the new address but she assured me I could change it later by calling a number once I get that email. Now it's way too late. I'm really upset with Verizon. Can best buy access monthly payment plans?

I know its unfortunate. I was also given their (800). If your purchasing VZ, BestBuy can access monthly payment plans from $39.54/mo. - $39.54/mo, depends on your choice. There are three options. Also it seems that the Space Gray is the only iPhone that be pre-ordered on BestBuys website, 64GB & 128GB. If im correct that your interested in the 6S Plus 64GB Rose Gold can be pre-ordered phone/store and be picked up at launch day or earliest shipping would be Monday the 28th.

So i pre-ordered my 6s plus 64gb at 12:00AM on Saturday, which shipping said 9/25. Unfortunately i wasn't given a shipping option and it automatically chose my home address. So i called Verizon olater that day and basically was told that they would have to cancel the order and put in a new one. Somehow the moron misunderstood and ended up CANCELING my order which i was livid and after a few expletives i was on the phone with a supervisor. Basically he told me that they were going to make it so that i was essentially jumping the line and would honor my original date. Let's see if this is true or not, luckily i was smart and pre-ordered at my local Apple store also.

Thanks for letting me know. I think I might suck it up because it's my moms house which is an hour away but I'm in class all day and have work that Friday night. So i don't know when I can even pick it up.

I am eligible for a Verizon upgrade on my contract. Can I purchase a Verizon 6s at the Apple Store without a SIM card at the subsidized price? I would like to use the new 6s on t-mobile without deactivating my old 5s for continued use with Verizon.

Yes. Remove SIM Card from newly purchased 6s and insert SIM Card from 5S. Activate iPhone on VZW. Then remove VZW SIM card from 6s and insert SIM Card from T-Mo. That's it.

If you purchase iPhone at subsidized price from Apple, it will come with SIM Card. Just toss the card and use the card from your 5S.

An ignorant question, but I truly don't know the answer: I have an iPhone 5; I did not realize that I could remove the SIM card so easily...is this new from the 5s on? Or has it been this way with all iPhones?

I just got off the phone with Verizon rep and they offered me a "more everything more everything boil tea loyalty" plan for $100 per month for 20GB, $20 per line on top of that, BUT a $25 per Month per line discount that continued after the devices were paid off.

My math says that's an awesome deal. She said there was just a special offer on my account when I called in.

Add in my 18% discount from my employer and that's awesome.

I signed up and I'm pleased.

Anyone else experience special offers like this?
That 18% discount is only on the $100 part, right? :p

All Verizon 4G phones are unlocked to work with T-Mobile and AT&T or any carrier that uses a sim pretty much. But since it was purchased from Verizon it is technically a Verizon phone. So that is the only difference.
I figured so. So listing as Verizon instead of Factory unlocked makes more sense since I bought from VZW initially too?

Edit: Sorry for double post

Not new. VZW iPhones from the iP5 up have been unlocked and contain SIM Card.

Thanks, Tripzter. I now wonder whether it makes sense to just take the SIM card from my iPhone 5 and stick it in the 6s in order to forego the $40 new device fee that Verizon wants to charge me. Then, though, I couldn't even get the $100 I'd probably get for my five. Decisions, decisions.

You could still sell the iPhone 5 and get Verizon to wave the activation fee if you are not changing your plan.

They told me that the only way I could save myself the new device fee is if I took the option of the $299 upfront and monthly payments. Though perhaps they consider it changing my plan if I am bringing a new phone into the mix. It is so confusing, and honestly, no one there provides a consistent answer.

A caveat. The SIM Card in the iP5 won't fit in the 6s. However, VZW will issue you a new nano SIM Card for no charge.

Right it's not this easy one has to be careful reading a lot of posts here because with Verison it's not always cut and dry.

I would think that you can't purchase the phone without an SIM card and definitely not with contract pricing.

Also not sure how you would get that phone activated unless you have an iPhone on a t-mobile account already.

Verizon orders can get your location code by signing into your account then search for order status and click the link for Check Order Status/Order Tracking. Just a little different information than going to My Verizon/My Orders. My location code is P386501 which is Memphis FedEx.
do you mind if I post this at the top of this thread?

Has someone started a similar Google Doc spreadsheet tracking the location codes, order times, deliver times...etc like last year???
